Beautiful room, decently clean, wonderful views. Slippers, nice towels, comfortable bed and a lovely swing by the window. Great teas and drinks, big terrace, fantastic location with a local bus round the corner taking you to the city center. Wonderful for walking and a quiet stay away from tourists. Lovely staff, way better than years ago. The hotel has improved in my opinion, though the prices also increased significantly. Restaurants don't have the greatest choice, but there's plenty of restaurants around the hotel and of course in the center. Reasonably short walk to the metro Oriente, about 10-15 min, where you have many buses taking you straight to Rossio and Cais do Sodre.

The location is a couple of minutes away from Lisbon's main train station (Gare do Oriente), which means it was also very close to Meo Arena. It's perfect for a group of friends. For the price we paid, it was a very good deal.
