Very, very clean. Great room, truly creative, great breakfast. When you come in it is like you are entering a living room in a bit of retro style. Very nice. The room is fine with a good bed and also with some retro elements. Very, very nice. The host is really very helpfull and will help you with eveything (if possible of course).

The apartment definitely has a zen like quality about it. Some really nice touches, such as the wine and the biscuits were greatly received. Communication with the owner was good no issues there. The views from the apartment just heavenly. Peaceful.and tranquil wonderful start and end to each day looking out onto the ocean. The balcony was an unexpected treat able to get more sun as it was a lovely sun trap and also watch the birds. A really positive experience all in all.

Everything was great! Super clean, private, quiet. Good access to public transport and close to groceries, supermarkets, etc. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into the accommodation. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent host! We arrived at 10am and the hostess herself suggested that we check in right away. The complimentary bottle of excellent wine, water and sweets for the children were just what we needed after a difficult flight. Thank you! She also gave us a lot of advice on where to have a dinner. The apartment is very clean, has everything you need, an electric radiator in each room (we have never seen central heating in Portugal). The apartment is conveniently located, 5 minutes to a beautiful view point and an elevator to the river, 5-10 minutes to a large supermarket, 2 small stores in neighboring houses. You can walk to the ferry in 15 minutes, it is better to take the tram back, since it is uphill. One of the best places we have been! I would give more than 10 if possible!

I liked the location, just taking an Uber for 3 EUR to the boat that cross the river and from there you find the touristic places. It is easy to move in Portugal with the Navegante Card, beautiful city and our host was so kind that we are missing her already, thanks

I was in the area for a conference and the weather was...

I was in the area for a conference and the weather was atrocious so it was not possible to fully appreciate the area. I did find a good local pizza place which delivered during the storm and a nice cafe in the morning.

Almada is a bustling city and it’s easy to get lost…plan accordingly! we especially liked taking the Boca do Vento elevator down to the river and walking to the fresh seafood restaurant and to Cacilhas.

Almada is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of...

Almada is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon with all the tourist activity. Easy 10 minute ferry ride to Lisbon. $3.20 euro return trip. Almada is less expensive with all the food options you could possibly want, all the while you have a chance to enjoy the fabulous people of Portugal. If you like walking, it's a great area.

Booked last minute on our travels. Loved it . Staff very helpful My only complaint would be that the hotel didn’t sell alcoholic beverages but it wasn’t a problem. A small bar 2 minutes away ( lovely) and Lidl next door

We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our...

We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our pied-a-terre due to its proximity and connectedness. We did buy a Lisboa pass which we understood would connect us from the Fertagus station on the Almada side to our place but it did not although the busses are run by the same company. That was the only unfortunate surprise we had. We explored Almada, Sintra and Lisboa during our three day stay and had a great time! This place comes highly recommended.

The location of the appartment between Lissabon and the Coast of Caparica is great. On top, the appartment is really cozy and everything was cleaned up when I arrived. I loved sitting on the couch nearby the big windows, reading a book and listen to the guitar playing on the main street. A small grocery shop, restaurants and public transports can be reached within a few minutes walking distance. Thanks again to Rita for giving me a lot of helpful advices for my stay in Almada.

While Almada could be considered by some a s a nice town, the location of this flat was not great. It is on the first floor and does not offer much privacy. The apartment was clean but as pets are allowed, I started to have allergies. The neighbourhood is not nice and for the same price as this place, I found another place in Cascais which is a thousand times better. I would not go back to this apartment.

Casa Rene is lovely and so is Ylvi! It's perfectly placed for the restaurants and bars of Almada, and a very short walk to the ferry to Cais do Sodre. The apartment is large and nicely decorated. You have an outdoor space with seating and the pool area is great, sitting amongst the citrus trees. Even the other guests were lovely!

So tidy and well designed room and common area. Comfortable bed. Good location in Almada. You can also travel to city center easily with ferry. Owners of facility have smiling face and happy to help you about your requests and questions. and they give you one bottle of wine as a welcome, drink it and sleep well.
