Karina and her colleague are super-friendly and kind. She answered my questions timely via Whatsapp. I arrived late due to the rain & flight delayed from Madrid to Lisbon. The lady welcomed me with smile & showed me the room and how to use the kitchen and the area outside the house for rest & relax. PIN code was provided by Karina. Both ladies totally made me feel at home. It's very easy & safely secured to get in and out my room and the house with the PIN code. I don't need to carry any physical key or get afraid to lose the key & get charged or fine for loss of key. The room is very spacious and super-clean. There was also TV in the room, but I did't turn it on. The heater was working very well. The private bathroom is also super-clean. The shower room was very pleasant. On top of that, the kitchen is so big. I could cook breakfast and also buy some food from the supermarket for breakfast & dinner. This is a minimart nearby only 2 minutes walk. The other one is bigger with more selection of food and other consumables, but I had to walk to the tram station which took almost 10 minutes. I could easily make a cup of coffee for breakfast in the kitchen with the coffee machine. It's also complimentary. I also tried to use the laundry service which took 5 minutes walk to the other building. I paid with cash. The washing machine was working very well. I didn't have to bring any detergent. Karina also let me stay a bit inside the house after check-out time at 11 pm because it was pouring-rain outside.

Excellent host! We arrived at 10am and the hostess herself suggested that we check in right away. The complimentary bottle of excellent wine, water and sweets for the children were just what we needed after a difficult flight. Thank you! She also gave us a lot of advice on where to have a dinner. The apartment is very clean, has everything you need, an electric radiator in each room (we have never seen central heating in Portugal). The apartment is conveniently located, 5 minutes to a beautiful view point and an elevator to the river, 5-10 minutes to a large supermarket, 2 small stores in neighboring houses. You can walk to the ferry in 15 minutes, it is better to take the tram back, since it is uphill. One of the best places we have been! I would give more than 10 if possible!

I liked the location, just taking an Uber for 3 EUR to the boat that cross the river and from there you find the touristic places. It is easy to move in Portugal with the Navegante Card, beautiful city and our host was so kind that we are missing her already, thanks

I was in the area for a conference and the weather was atrocious so it was not possible to fully appreciate the area. I did find a good local pizza place which delivered during the storm and a nice cafe in the morning.

Almada is a bustling city and it’s easy to get lost…plan accordingly! we especially liked taking the Boca do Vento elevator down to the river and walking to the fresh seafood restaurant and to Cacilhas.

Almada is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon with all the tourist activity. Easy 10 minute ferry ride to Lisbon. $3.20 euro return trip. Almada is less expensive with all the food options you could possibly want, all the while you have a chance to enjoy the fabulous people of Portugal. If you like walking, it's a great area.

Booked last minute on our travels. Loved it . Staff very helpful My only complaint would be that the hotel didn’t sell alcoholic beverages but it wasn’t a problem. A small bar 2 minutes away ( lovely) and Lidl next door

We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our...

We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our pied-a-terre due to its proximity and connectedness. We did buy a Lisboa pass which we understood would connect us from the Fertagus station on the Almada side to our place but it did not although the busses are run by the same company. That was the only unfortunate surprise we had. We explored Almada, Sintra and Lisboa during our three day stay and had a great time! This place comes highly recommended.

Almada Villa is a perfect location. In a quiet neighbourhood a short ferry ride to Alfama. Spotlessly clean, large rooms, friendly & helpful staff. If I am ever in Lisbon again I will be staying here.
