"Lisbon is a beautiful city with plenty of things to see, do, and eat. I really liked the Belém Tower and the Monument of Discoveries. The area around them is especially beautiful, with large parks and great paths for walking and cycling. However, it can be quite challenging to walk around, especially in the city centre, as it is very hilly. For this reason, it’s important to wear comfortable clothes and good shoes, preferably trainers. I would also recommend visiting Lisbon in the spring rather than in the summer, as it can get very hot and touristic."

We went to eat fish (recommend Leo, Pinga amor and Casa Santiago)
and go to the beach as stop on our road trip (Porto-Faro)
The best beaches are in Portinho da arrabida (Galapinhos)
We had a car so was easy to go to big supermarkets but in Setubal you have everything within walking distance."

"Prior to the Covid outbreak I visited the Estoril area at least twice a year for many years. I've made friends with people of the area and kept in touch. Estoril is at an ideal location for access to Lisbon and beyond. The trains are regular but crowded at some times and i think run 23hours a day. Its fairly easy to walk to the adjacent resort Cascais. The beaches in the area are quite small and are busy on hot days. Lifeguards are in attendance. Restaurants are plentiful both in Estoril and Cascais. A couple of hotels in Monte Estoril area are now closed one of which was my favourite. I'd recommend the Azimut Restaurant at Praia das Moitas with good friendly service and a excellent menu."

If booked a hotel this region , all the prominent beaches like Carcevelos , Cascais are all reachable in short duration by the Moffusil train. Beach lovers can think staying in Oeiras region . Please note , I found public transport is not much effective or the frequency is very low , lot of time waiting for a bus , and finally have to depend on Taxis most time, that May shell out more expense"

Everyday there was a new handwritten note thanking us for choosing the Art Legacy Hotel and asking if there was anything more they could do for us, they couldn't everything was perfect. We loved everything! The location is magical, nestled in nature yet only 10 minutes from the center of Setubal. The restaurant is extraordinary for both dinner and breakfast. The resort itself is amazing, and so beautiful, all apartments come fully equipped with everything you need. Alcochete is a beautiful area with lots of eateries around you and Freeport shopping outlet at your door. You do need a car.

Beautiful city, very welcoming people. Tram ride is a must try. I love to walk through the city of Lisbon. 3-4 days is a must in Lisbon. Lot of great food joints. Pinoquio restaurant in Lisbon is a must try for the best local food.

Sintra Deserves 2-3 days, rather than a day trip.
Sintra Deserves 2-3 days, rather than a day trip. This was my second visit to Sintra. There is a great distinction between the old Sintra area and the new area where people actually live. It is fairy tale town.

Lovely bustling town with a big selection of restaurants, cafes and bars. Good selection of shops too.
Very picturesque old streets.
Traffic through the town is very slow moving and parking hard to find at times.

Setubal is an upcoming town.
Setubal is an upcoming town. It's very trendy at the moment, lots of caffés , bars and restaurants are a must to visit.
The long promenade and the park under the trees is so beautiful.
Setubal is charming. A very picturesque town. Definitely a place to relax.

The water was a beautiful clear blue and quite warm yet refreshing in the heat, although when the tide came in we found quite a few jellyfishes. There was a lot of fun things to do both at the beach and by it, however overall it was quite an expensive place to visit.

This hotel is perfect.
This hotel is perfect. It is clean, conveniently located near beautiful beaches, and all the staff were friendly and very helpful.
I loved the swimming pool, and I always found available sun loungers. There isn't much to do in Estoril itself, but it's easy to travel to Lisbon and other nearby towns. I went to Cascais every day because it's much livelier. You can get there by train in just 5 minutes, but I preferred to walk along the beautiful seaside promenade, which takes about 30 minutes and is well worth it.
I also travelled from Estoril to Sao Pedro do Estoril, 4mins by train there is a beautiful sandy beach; quieter with clear & calm waters, and a more relaxed atmosphere than Tamariz, the sun loungers are much cheaper 20euros per person for a full day and you can pay for half days, compared to Tamariz which charges 40euros per person and don't give you options. I think it could be cheaper for two people, I probably paid more because I was alone.

I was deeply disappointed by the state of the room.
I was deeply disappointed by the state of the room. Upon pulling back the bedcovers, I discovered several visible stains on the sheets — something that should never pass any reasonable housekeeping check. The bed linen appeared to have been used and not replaced, which raises serious hygiene concerns. The room was also very dusty, implying that the cleaning process is not properly done.
For a paying guest, clean bedding is the absolute minimum expectation. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to meet even that basic standard. I flagged the issue to reception, left the hotel and asked for a refund. I was told the hotel has not agreed with the refund. That´s what happens when we choose the wrong hotel.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice. Until their cleaning and quality-control procedures are significantly improved, I cannot recommend staying here.

Please see what I have already said in the previous questionnaire! Overall, it was excellent - in terms of location, proximity to the ocean & beach, to cafes and restaurants, shops & pharmacy (just across the road), and - if relevant - to the NOVA Business chool.

I liked the location, just taking an Uber for 3 EUR to the boat that cross the river and from there you find the touristic places. It is easy to move in Portugal with the Navegante Card, beautiful city and our host was so kind that we are missing her already, thanks
