The room was small and ok and the beddings are very simple (with only one thin blanket/sheet) which is not under our expectation for a three-star hotel. We get charged for parking without the staff acknowledging us ($11/night). We have no choice because it was very late at night. It was very difficult to drive there too due to the narrow streets. There's a nice terrace overseeing the ocean which was great.

Pretty local town with two supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and pharmacy. The local people were very helpful and friendly especially in the supermarket. Much more helpful than in the UK but I guess if I lived in Calvia, I’d be happier too!

It’s a beautiful old town in the hills with great views, nice and quiet, friendly locals, some gorgeous properties surround it. Not too far from the Port or Palma. Need access to a car or use taxis if want to leave the village. Great local coffee and services such as small supermarkets, ATM and places to eat and drink all in walking distance. Very safe to walk through in the evenings also.
The location and the house were both absolutely stunning. The house is old but nicely maintained with some modern features like air-conditioning or a swimming pool. Sheep ringing their bells every evening just beneath our windows added to the rural atmosphere of the place. It was charming. The small city of Calvia is worth an evening walk too.
The proximity of the city of Palma, Tramuntana mountains or nearby beaches is also a nice benefit. Everything is easily accessible if you bring a car. Parking at the property is convenient.
Gorgeous location, we already knew Calvia, it was the perfect base for travelling around the rest of the island, only 20 mins from airport and only 10 mins from motorway but is away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts. Calvia is a beautiful village (although technically a town) full of traditional charm. Hermanas Femenias was a cracking little place, nicely furnished, very comfortable, spectacular views and very clean. All the usual comforts you would expect. The perfect hideaway!
The hotel, staff, location and overall comfort have been incredible. The owners as well as the staff at the property is very attentive, making sure that they can provide anything you need. The hotel is located in a peaceful quiet area, which offers a great space for relax and enjoying your holidays. Rooms were large and very clean which is a big plus. Breakfast had everything we wanted and also catered to the needs of vegans/vegetarians. I really loved the place and would come back.
Villa Magdalena is situated about a 5/10 min walk from the quaint village of Calvia, which has a couple of restaurants- a shop and so on. The Villa is stunning, I cant wait to go again in slightly warmer months so I can make better use of the gorgeous outdoor areas. Couldnt recommend this place highly enough.
Dreamy place away from the hustle-bustle but close enough to have a nice dinner in Calvià or to get anywhere else on the island. Wonderful historic building carefully restored. Charming and forthcoming staff. Perfect stay. Thank you!
