Hotel was charming and clean. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value for money! I’ve paid triple before at other hotels and received less.

We slept well, the food was very good, the room clean, the staff super kind (they helped us find another place to stay the following night, when it turned out that our next host was overbooked).

We spent a lovely evening in Hotel Palacio Carlos 1. It’s beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us with our requests. Breakfast was delicious and only €6. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Everything! Gorgeous location and lovely, kind staff. The room was very homely and spacious, and the food at the restaurant was excellent.

Everything was exceptional. The attention to detail was fantastic and the homemade breakfast items were lovely. The views from our room were an added bonus. We were made to feel very at home and Noelie was the perfect host.

This was just perfect after a day long hike. The dinner was good, the staff really helpful. Highly recommended.

Due to teams of a school soccer tournament (and them breaking a bed), the hotel arranged for us to stay in another hotel (Hotel Casa Espana). They arranged everything - drove us there, luggage transfer etc) - great staff!

This hotel is close to the center of Villaviciosa, close to restaurants, shops, and sights. Perfect for exploring! the bed was surprisingly comfortable and I slept well. For the price, the room was clean and provided a good base for exploring.

A quirky and beautifully renovated place. Fabulous views and a great night’s sleep in this quiet location. The hosts were very friendly and provided a wide range of information including places where we could eat with our dog. Probably the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed.

Water and mountain views, very nice sheets/pillows, kind owners and delicious locally sourced breakfast. All the furnishings really high quality with as story to tell as well.

We loved this house in rural Spain. Monica was the perfect hostess. She made her own bread, cakes and jam that we had for breakfast. The stars at night were so bright whilst we sat on the balcony watching with a bottle of wine. We decided to have a drive around the country roads and only 5 minutes away, we found a beautiful beach with a very large beach bar next to it. We highly recommend a couple of nights here to get away from it all. Special mention to Chipi the dog.
