This was just perfect after a day long hike. The dinner was good, the staff really helpful. Highly recommended.

We loved this house in rural Spain. Monica was the perfect hostess. She made her own bread, cakes and jam that we had for breakfast. The stars at night were so bright whilst we sat on the balcony watching with a bottle of wine. We decided to have a drive around the country roads and only 5 minutes away, we found a beautiful beach with a very large beach bar next to it. We highly recommend a couple of nights here to get away from it all. Special mention to Chipi the dog.

The Room was excellent, spacious , same for the bathroom. the restaurant and service was great, so was breakfast.

For a 1 star Hotel this was excellent. Best location. Great staff and wonderful food and drink. Also on the edge of the best mountain roads in Europe. Loved it.

Location and everything made with a lot of love

Everything!!! The hotel, the room, the staff, the restaurant, the spa, everything was exceptional. Firstly the rooms. Beautifully appointed, fantastic shower and toileteries, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Next the staff. Everyone we interacted with were so helpful, passionate and with great personalities. Nothing could have made us feel more at home, even with some language barriers. Special mention goes out to Cova in the restaurant who was exceptional in explaining everything and making us so relaxed. She was also fluent in English and French (and Spanish of course). Also Ruth on the front desk was so welcoming and helped us with restaurant suggestions. The restaurant - absolutely amazing food, beautifully crafted with merging traditional Asturian favourites with special twists. Great desserts! The breakfasts were amazing, top quality fruit, yoghurt, breads, pastries, meats and cheese and wonderful cooked options. Had a massage in the spa, excellent and the outside pool was so clean. Not heated but I quite prefer colder water anyway. Will definately return. This place is first class

Water and mountain views, very nice sheets/pillows, kind owners and delicious locally sourced breakfast. All the furnishings really high quality with as story to tell as well.

Due to teams of a school soccer tournament (and them breaking a bed), the hotel arranged for us to stay in another hotel (Hotel Casa Espana). They arranged everything - drove us there, luggage transfer etc) - great staff!

Location was good with underground secure parking

A good location, Villaviciosa being a very rural town. The hotel was well located with on-site free parking which we didn't use because street parking was more convenient. Our feeling was this hotel was good value for money. We did not eat breakfast, only had coffe for which they didn't charge.

As expected, the hotel was rather isolated but as it was located on a cliff top, surrounded on three sides by the sea, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, we couldn't fault it for location. Warm welcome by staff who spoke good English. View from the very comfortable and well appointed room was exceptional. Simple, delicious food and well stocked bar.
