Clearly the Alhambra is the number one attraction of Granada. However, the city is very beautiful yet compact, so it is easy to wander around to view all the other attractions (I recommend the Cathedral). The city has so many wonderful restaurants and tapas bars that you are spoiled for choice. It is impossible to eat tapas and then visit a restaurant, as the tapas can be quite filling but delicious. The locals are friendly and always helpful and if you try and speak Spanish they are even more so.
Granada is a romantic and beautiful city steeped in history. What is special about it is the vibrant overlapping of cultures (Jewish, Moorish, and Christian), which has left us with delicious food, brilliant dance, and stunning architecture. It is easy to walk around the city, but in case you need a break, city buses only cost about 1 euro/person. I would highly recommend the city for young couples especially because the price of food/drink is reasonable and there are few sights more romantic than the Alhambra at night.
If you go there to visit Alhambra, you'd better buy your tickets online in advance, as they sell out quickly! The public transport is very good, the buses can take you to all the touristic places. Many venues/museums are free for EU citizens, just ask in the Tourist Office. Beautiful narrow streets and ubiquitous orange trees - with oranges on even in February! Fantastic paella marisco at Plaza Aliatar - the best I've ever had!
We have stayed in Granada several times. It is an interesting city. There are plenty facilities. We enjoyed lovely walks. The Alhambra is an obvious place to visit but we've been there before and may go again next time.
Great place for 3 days, airport close by makes it so easy. Alhambra is a must, also a walking tour which can show you places to later go back and explore for longer. Did not particularly enjoy the flamenco in the caves, it felt too touristy and one of the performers clearly did not want to be on stage!
We loved Granada so much that we stayed for an extra few days. The old town is lively and full of culture, while the rest of the city has great local places to eat (even vegan, lucky me) and plenty of shopping. There is culture and history everywhere you turn and great nightlife.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The apartment was super clean and comfortable, the location was highly convenient, the owners were very attentive and hospitable and the terrace views of the Alhambra and the Albaicín were amazing! Cannot recommend highly enough. I have been to Granada many times and stayed in all sorts of hotels, hostels and apartments, this is by far the best place I've stayed in. Will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you Apartamentos Mirador Alhambra!

I like the location of the hotel. It is very close to the main street. The room is not very big but very confortable. The bathroom is almost as big as the room, which I like very much. It was a really cold two nights in Granada during my stay but the heater in the room was enough to keep me warm during my sleep. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful in giving me suggestions on what to do and where to go.

Staff were polite but didn’t go out of the way to be helpful or give recommendations like other hotels we stayed in Spain.

Great hotel in the old part of Granada, not easily accessible with a car, best to park where the hotel suggests and take a taxi or 10 mins walk. Quirky rooms, all different but well appointed. We love it.
