Always attend the Music and Dance Festival and never disappointed with the artists performing. The city is beautiful with lots of bars and terrific tapas. Bar La Sitarilla recommended if you can get in. Avila I and II both very good too. Lots of quiet places as well, some less well known ones worth checking out including the gardens of Carmen de los Martires. Can be very hot in the summer - it hit 42° while I was there! Most attractions easy to reach on foot, provided you can handle hilly parts. Always book your visit to The Alhambra to avoid disappointment.

Apart from La Alhambra, one of the top monuments in the world, and the views around Granada, walking around the narrow streets of Albaicin, Realejos, and City Center was really pleasant. The city has tons of restaurants and shops for every taste.

We stayed for one night as we were traveling from Nerja for a visit to Granada. It was a great visit, we did a e bike tour of the city which showed us most of the city and the architecture and some great view from high up. Granada is a vibrant place with lots of places to eat and relax. We truly enjoyed everything about it.

Main point of visit was to go to Alhambra which we booked in advance. Arrived day before via Alsa bus from Malaga airport. Journey 1.75 hours. Alhambra visit was around 2 hours and was great. There was also a festival on in Granada (Corpus Cristi) which we didn't know in advance, but was a great bonus to watch. Ladies in Flamenco outfits everywhere which was amazing to see. The fiesta was also at an area near the bus station. People on horses everywhere - amazing to see (and all free). Granada city itself is lovely. Beautiful cathedral, Caves to visit, tapas bars where you buy a drink and get a tapa thrown in. Flamenco shows. It was hot (38 degrees) so need a hat and walk slowly. We walked miles - a lot of it pedestrianised.
The hotel is beautiful and stylish in a modern and simple way. The attention to small details make this a perfect boutique hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent. There were lovely separate areas of the hotel which could be used by guests including a library, a patio courtyard and an amazing roof terrace with stunning views. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. The location is perfect with simple walking access to the Alhambra and to all the sights in Granada. Fabulous.
The breakfast was the best during my trip to Spain. It can't be compared to other hotels I've stayed in.
The staff are fantastic! They are good, hard-working people.
It's not a new building, but it's well maintained. The room is comfortable and enough to stay.
This was the best room we have stayed in in Spain, extremely comfortable, excellent bed, pillow, shower, good size, kettle with tea and coffee, I wish all hotels were like this one. We spent the rest of the trip missing this room.
As the French would say “Un Petit Bijoux”. A truly wonderful little boutique hotel located perfectly. The room and facilities were better than most 5 star hotels and staff amazing.
