The accommodation was in a central location, all the main sights were within walking distance. The staff was friendly, the hotel was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. It was refreshing to take a dip in the pool. I liked the refreshments and sweets available at the reception.

The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. The pop on pop off city tour bus was great, I'd highly recommend anyone to do this. Also the Automobile Museum was well worth the visit. Take a taxi from the train station next to the Barcelo Hotel up to the pedestrian restaurant area in the centre of town (@ €6), literally hundreds of bars and restaurants to choose from. So many things to do, including trips outwith Malaga, its definitely worth a visit.

Wish I had more time here!

Wish I had more time here! Beautiful city with the prettiest streets. They are marble which is hard to find elsewhere! Great food as well! Not normally a beach guy but the beaches are great and you can rent a chair/umbrella and just chill.

There are plenty of museums , churches and other attractions to visit. Including a busy marine harbour with shops, stalls and coffee shops. The Historic Centre is busy and full of bars, restaurants and tapas bars in the main drags and the small winding lanes that run off each other. There are loads of shops of all types some expensive designer and others cheaper. Something for everyone. The culture is wonderful and the place is very clean and well looked after. The Architecture is wonderful. There are beautiful beaches near the centre which is lovely for a restful day on the beach, before heading into the centre at night.

Lots to explore in Malaga so plenty of walking. We did a trip to Rhonda & Setenil an absolute must very beautiful 90 minuet coach trip to Rhonda we used an app GetYourGuide and it was flawless only £23 each and was away for 9 hours in total. Restaurants I would absolutely recommend are - LaGuernica Soho, Calle Casas de Campos, 20, 29001 Málaga Trattoria Mamma Franca, Avenida Imperio Argentina, 7, 29004 Málaga Rub Smoke,Calle Princesa, 10, 29002 Málaga buses are easy to use and if you use app Citymapper, all times and stops are easy to follow.

We really enjoyed my visit to Malaga.

We really enjoyed my visit to Malaga. The old town is charming, the beaches are clean, and there are plenty of restaurants and cultural attractions. It can get quite busy, but overall it's a fantastic place to visit.

The overall location is perfect for my needs, It is close to the rail station, a decent walk to the old town centre and the majority of the restaurants. However it is only a short stroll to the new developments of So-Ho, The many new restaurants and bars here are based in existing older buildings so they retain the spirit of the district. The beach is just a medium walk away behind the old bullring. I visit Malaga every December and nearly every time I stay at Hotel Zeus because of the location and the fantastic staff.

The apartment was so clean and homely. It had everything we needed and allowed us to have a really relaxing stay. The location was perfect, too. Across the road from the beach. With bars, restaurants, and shops around, but it still had a peaceful vibe. It was the right side of Malaga for the airport, and all transport links were convenient. We often did the walk along the seafront into Malaga old town in the evenings.

This is a boutique hotel on the edge of the old town, close enough to walk to the centre in a matter of minutes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is modern and clean, though quirky. The in-room bath is a wonderful relaxing addition. The hotel is comfortable, clean, secure, and modern. The large modern in-room bath is a wonderful place to relax after a day sightseeing and I wish I had one like it at home!

A boutique hotel in a great location for central Malaga and the port. Staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast (extra payment) is a very pleasant way to start the day. The roof top bar is in much demand by hotel residents and locals alike. 10 minutes walks from the C1 railway station which is 20 minutes by train from Malaga Airport.
