The accommodation was in a central location, all the main sights were within walking distance. The staff was friendly, the hotel was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. It was refreshing to take a dip in the pool. I liked the refreshments and sweets available at the reception.

We have travelled around Andalucia a fair bit both inland to Seville and Granada and along the coast to Cadiz, Estepona and Nerja and I still feel Malaga is one of the nicest cities to visit. A clean and very beautiful but compact city, easy to walk around with a beautiful port and some large beaches. It has a castle, lots of museum and galleries and a myriad of restaurants and tapas bars, and even a roman amphitheater! I don’t think it can be beaten.

The beaches are crap, too many people.

The beaches are crap, too many people. But the town and especially the hill palace and castle are charming. Like a different world when you're in those suspended gardens above the town and the sea below you.

Malaga has a superb mix of things to do for everyone.

Malaga has a superb mix of things to do for everyone. This year we visited the car/fashion museum and the Roman Theatre by bus. Last year we were on the hop on bus and saw more of the beaches. We ate our tapas at los malangros

Big city with some beautiful sites. Since it was a hub for us to visit Ronda, Seville, and Granada, we probably missed a lot. We saw the historical center and had a nice coffee there. We also visited the most famous site, the Alcazaba, at least.

Malaga is absolutely worth visiting: clean marbled streets, a revitalised port, lots of places to eat tapas, it was busy, vibrant and perfect for a 3 day / 4 night trip, bus and train were easy to use

Malaga has an amazing vibe and so much to do and see. This was our 2nd trip here, we did January last time, which was a little cold and damp, although the sun did shine all week. So we decided to do it again in the summer. You will never be short of anywhere to eat and drink and it didn't matter where we ate, standards were high everywhere. The Marina is a great place to shop and then just sit and watch the world go by. Shopping in the old town is adequate, there is also a great shopping centre about a 25 min walk away from the centre. We did the castle this time, but we did taxi up, that climb is way too challenging for us and suspect would be a challenge even for fit people lol. The views though are amazing! Local architecture is beautiful the cathedrals and buildings in the old town, so picturesque. Nightlife is plentiful, to be honest didn't need to go nightclubbing, most bars/restaurants open until 1 or 2am, so no need to go on anywhere else, left all that to the youngsters lol Find a rooftop bar for sunset and views. All in all we loved it which is why we did return for a 2nd visit. Would recommend Malaga without a doubt.

The overall location is perfect for my needs, It is close to the rail station, a decent walk to the old town centre and the majority of the restaurants. However it is only a short stroll to the new developments of So-Ho, The many new restaurants and bars here are based in existing older buildings so they retain the spirit of the district. The beach is just a medium walk away behind the old bullring. I visit Malaga every December and nearly every time I stay at Hotel Zeus because of the location and the fantastic staff.

Excellent location when returning to Málaga from Cordoba by train. Easy walk into the old town and the marina. Then when heading to the airport we had the option of both the train and easily available taxis for our early departure. The air conditioning/ heating in the room was the best I have ever encountered in a hotel. Very easy to regulate - and I could reach it from bed and cool things down when I awoke hot in the middle of the night without turning the light on.

The apartment was so clean and homely. It had everything we needed and allowed us to have a really relaxing stay. The location was perfect, too. Across the road from the beach. With bars, restaurants, and shops around, but it still had a peaceful vibe. It was the right side of Malaga for the airport, and all transport links were convenient. We often did the walk along the seafront into Malaga old town in the evenings.

Just a short walk away from the old town of Malaga and the beach. Despite this hotel being modern with little character, it had all the facilities you needed or wanted. The rooftop pool and sun loungers were a bonus. The breakfast was excellent and the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
