Stayed in Las Vegas Hotel for 5 nights and were delighted with location and proximity to beach. Lovely tapas bar Restuaunte Sancha virtually next door. Excellent food and service. Reception staff in Hotel las Vegas were extremely welcoming and engaging..... Every single reception staff member that we encountered over our 6 day stay could not have been nicer!! Breakfast....which I see has attracted some negative comments was much much more that just pastries. A range of fresh, tinned and dried fruit. Cereals, yoghurts, cheese, ham, chorizo, tomatoes, beans, small sausages, hard boiled egg croissants, pasties, toast rolls etc etc.( OK the big fry up is not on offer but their extensive continental breakfast will def leave you very full!! ) This is a really lovely little hotel with a pool, close to the beach and every room had an ample sized balcony. Often hard to get in city centre hotels. Town is approx a 15 min walk or as others have pointed out a frequent bus from just outside will being you to the buzzing old town or the recently developed port area. Do not be put off by negative reviews... Most of which date back 4 years or more. Las Vegas has upped its game, refurbished and is a great wee hotel at a really great price. This is the fifth hotel that I have stayed in in Malaga city....some of which were 4 and even 5 star but Las Vegas is definitely the one I will be returning to. Convenient, clean, cost effective and fronting on to a truly Spanish residential street with tapas and sangria on the doorstep.
Malaga is an incredible city full of culture, architecture and amazing food! The weather during our stay was incredible. There are many beaches and places to take walks, and sightseeing but also plenty of restaurants, bars and nightlife.
I thought it was going to be more active, I went on Monday till Wednesday, but even Madrid or Barcelona has a lot more activity in those days. The beach in front of the city is not good, nothing special, I would recommend other destinations prior to Málaga.
The apartment was unacceptable. There were no instructions about how to deal with rubbish or recycling, so it was left in the apartment. There were a number of problems with the apartment: 1. One of the showers was broken and the basin and the shower did not drain properly. 2. Duvets had no covers. 3. Pillow was dirty/smelly. 50 euros was deducted for rubbish removal, and if clear instructions had been left, it would not have happened. We expect compensation for the faults listed above. Malaga Suite office were unhelpful and very defensive. These are basic faults that should be checked between each visit and they showed a lack of care and low standards. How can you take money from us, but we have no comeback?
Malaga has everything- it’s a beautiful city with fabulous architecture has a lovely port to walk round and great beaches. Shopping is amazing and more restaurants and bars than you can imagine. It has a great buzz 🐝
I definitely recommend Malaga as a place to spend a few days. There are plenty of places to visit. The cathedral is amazing, it is definitely necessary to see it during the day, but also at night. The city views from the Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfaro are amazing. Swimming from the nearby beaches, great food and drink, relaxed and eternally smiling people, just a great place to vacation. We used buses to travel around the city. We bought a card loaded at the newsstand for 10 rides, it cost 8.50 Euros. The ticket could also be purchased from the driver for 1.40 Euros. We really liked the La Güerta restaurant in the Huelin district of Malaga.
Malaga Centro, Málaga
This is a difficult review to write, this place is clean and the staff were really lovely and helpful with great facilities. BUT this Hotel does not have actual rooms - they are pods like literally from space. Something which myself, my partner and another guest did not realise when making the booking (we shared a cab to the airport and discussed it). It was an experience for sure but not one thats really for me. The location is amazing - one street away from the beach and 10 mins walk from the old town. It has the feel of an upmarket hostel.
The hotel is in a nice area of Malaga close to the beach with a lot of facilties around. The old town of Malaga can be reached without any problems. If you like to walk it’s a good 25-30 walk. Other that that uber would cost you 3-4 euros. I think the bus stop is close to the place as well. I have stayed in Malaga few times and this place so far is the best one . If you don’t like much noise from the traffic and want to be by the beach, then definitely book this place. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.
Malaga Centro, Málaga
The location of the apartment is very good. In the city center, but on a quiet street. Restaurants and the beach are a short walk away. We did not use a taxi or public transport to get around the city at all. The airport can be reached by train and the train stop is very close. The only downside is that the balcony is miniature. Neither table nor chairs can fit there. can only stand. Highly recommend this apartment! If I go to Malaga again, I would try to rent the same apartment again :)
Perfect:location - 5min by car to Airport and all the car rentals, 25min by foot to the beach - so we managed to spend a half of our last day in Malaga swimming, having a dinner in one of nice restaurants nearby , and there was no need to go to the city center. But if someone needs to - public transportation will help. They even have small free Parking, if there will be no place - 6eur/day in an underground parking. We can absolutely recommend staying in the hotel!
The location of this hotel is perfectly situated by the train station and within strolling centre of the old town. The staff are welcoming, informative and accommodating, I really couldn’t find any fault. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The decor is super modern, arty and fun. The rooftop lounge area offers amazing views over the city and is super relaxed. We only stayed one night, but would gladly have stayed longer. I would definitely revisit when in Malaga.
The staff treated us like 5 star quality hotel very satisfied with the staff very clean and tidy premises I really enjoyed my stay here one of the staffs has over 20 years experience in managing hotel worked in many luxury hotels in London left a special surprise in my room for my birthday made soo much of a difference to my day thank you guys really appreciate it and good luck the future hope you have a happy life
Great hotel, perfectly located close to the old town (so many shops and restaurants nearby) and the see and promenade as well. The rooftop pool is small but good enough to cool yourself while sunbathing on the rooftop terrace. The staff is also really nice and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again in Malaga and would also try out other Room Mate hotels in other locations.
Location for getting to airport or center of Malaga, to any of the coastal towns. The cleanest hotel we have stayed in, quietness from the hustle and bustle of the city center.Very comfortable bed and a lovely surprise, the room had a terrace with table and chairs to sit out which made the room feel a lot bigger. Five minute walk from the Maria Zambrano train station
Nice, bright and airy hotel on the water. Beach right out front with a nice walking path. Big rooms with nice bathrooms. Excellent buffet dinner! A good stay just outside of busy Malaga, quick drive to everything, very close to airport! Excellent parking options! You can park in the lot for a fee or on the street for free. We did street parking and had no issues!
Malaga Centro, Málaga
Perfect place to stay in Malaga, near by the sea, very clean in the city center 5min from the castle. The bus from airport is only 8minutes from the hotel by walking. There are towells for the beach and umbrella also chairs for the beach which host was left for us.
The location in Soho was fabulous. Easy walking to the Old Town and so many restaurats. Very convenient to Malaga station to take train to other towns along the Costa Del Sol An easy 10 minute walk to the Main station for train to Seville.
Amazing location, for access to Málaga. I travelled alone from Málaga Airport, and the train was cheap and easy. The hotel had everything I needed, and the staff were very helpful, and spoke English. I will definitely return.
« Hotel soho boutique bahia malaga » that we were transferred was in good location, close to city centre. Room was clean, comfy bed. Breakfast was good with various choices but there could be more vegetarian options.
The hotel, especially the rooftop pool area. The location near Malaga old town. Convenience to the airport by near train, so hotel to the other side of airport security 60 minutes.
Perfect location in Malaga only a few hundred meters from the old town and the parade streets. Boutique hotel with personally decorated rooms and fresh bathrooms.
The location was perfect, most of the old town was within a 10 minutes walk from the Hotel. It is also close to the beach and main attractions.
very cool atmosphere with comfortable accommodations located in the heart of old town Malaga
Very cozy room in a top hotel in front of old town Malaga. Easy access by taxi.
friendly staff solarium located in Malaga old town
great location with a very nice view over the city
