The accommodation was in a central location, all the main sights were within walking distance. The staff was friendly, the hotel was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. It was refreshing to take a dip in the pool. I liked the refreshments and sweets available at the reception.

The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. Málaga is a fantastic city and one of the highlights of Andalusia! Climbing up to Gibralfaro Castle is absolutely worth it—the panoramic views over the city and the Mediterranean Sea are breathtaking. The old town is full of charming streets and countless excellent Spanish and Andalusian restaurants serving delicious local cuisine. Don't miss the Picasso Museum, which is a true must-see for art lovers. Málaga has the perfect mix of history, culture, food, and beautiful scenery. I can't wait to come back!

I visit Malaga often but only for short stays which is perfect for me. Some restaurants need to be booked in advance as they are always incredibly busy (El Pimpi) but others require you to queue up (Casa Lola). Malaga centre is very walkable and the map can give the impression that everything is a lot further away than it truly is. Walk around, get lost in the side streets, visit the port, eat in different places and plan your next visit!

Beautiful city of Malaga and friendly and welcoming people of Malaga ! We definitely will be back ❤️ We learned that summer is extremely hot season ☀️, so spring time should be better for visiting Malaga with much more comfortable temperature to walk around.

We were very happy with our choice of Malaga to stay for 6 nights rather than other towns on the Costa Del Sol. The historic area is great for walking and many of the streets are car free. We enjoyed visiting the Alcazaba- the moorish fort and Roman amphitheatre, Picasso Museum , Carmen Thyssen Museum. Staying in Constitution place , we would walk down Calle Larios the main shopping street , through the gardens and down to Malagueta beach for our daily walk in the morning before it got too hot. As we stayed in Constitution Plaza we were spoilt for choice for lunch and dinner . We ate in a couple of Michelin restaurants and recommend Alaparte; we also ate twice at EL Pimpi- must try the almond soup that comes with a scoop of mango sorbet- genius!. Antonio Martin was another restaurant we enjoyed on Malagueta beach Malaga is also convenient for day trips . Granada is a must do.

We really enjoyed staying here. The flat itself is great, very spacious for two of us and clean with everything you need (except for dishwasher tablets and washing liquid). Having two bathrooms was very helpful and the showers were great. The location is wonderful, in Soho with the old town across the road plus the port and beach a short walk away. Malaga-Centro-Alameda train station is a few minutes away and on a direct line to the airport.
