I don't know what could be done to have a better experience :) this is just world class. It may be the best 5 star experience so far (I've done a few!). Location is great, just 1 min walk from the beach, and eventhough the hotel is on the pedestrian street with lots of bars and restaruants around, the rooms are with very good isolation and you don't hear any streert noise once inside. The rooms are very well decorated, some have small balconies, there is enough space, fridge, AC, ventilator and safe, and everything is spotlessly clean! The design is moder and comfortable. There is also a huge rooftop terrace open for everyone and great to spend evening there and looking at the sea and the city. The staff are really welcoming, nice and kind, they made our stay great! We found our home away from home in Toremolinos, merci!

4****class in Hospitality: Why BLUESEA Al Andalus Remains 4****Jewel of Torremolinos Having known this establishment since its days as the Royal Andalus, it is a genuine pleasure to witness its remarkable evolution under the BLUESEA Group. It is rare to see a hotel transition so seamlessly while not only maintaining but elevating its standards. Today, it stands as a shining example of what true 4-star quality looks like in the heart of the Costa del Sol. The Heart of the Hotel: A World-Class Team A hotel’s soul is defined by its people, and the staff at BLUESEA Al Andalus are, quite simply, superb. There is a palpable sense of professionalism and warmth that flows from the top down: The General Manager: For steering the ship with such clear vision and maintaining a standard of excellence that is visible in every corner of the property. The Reception Team: For providing a welcome that is as efficient as it is friendly, making every arrival feel like a homecoming. The Restaurant Staff: For their tireless dedication and impeccable service, ensuring that every meal is a highlight of the stay. The Housekeeping Team: For their incredible attention to detail and for keeping the rooms in pristine condition, providing the comfort and cleanliness that a 4-star stay demands. Quality, Location, and Value What makes this hotel stand out is the incredible price-quality ratio. It is rare to find such high-level service and amenities at such a competitive price point. The location is equally ideal—offering easy access for travelers while remaining just a stone’s throw from the beauty of the sea. Final Reflections In my experience, this is undoubtedly the best of the BLUESEA Group. There is a unique atmosphere here that makes a guest feel not just "serviced," but truly cared for. I feel great here, and it is thanks to the collective effort of this wonderful team. With much gratitude, high esteem, and sincere appreciation, Gery Maes Van de Vorst - www.

Our favorite places were definitely the marina and the old town. The marina had such an amazing atmosphere — fantastic cocktails, great vibes, and that feeling of being completely relaxed and alive, like time had stopped. The city was very clean, full of little shops everywhere, and extremely easy to explore on foot. For food, we preferred local restaurants around the big central cathedral and inside the beautiful cobblestone streets and squares. There were so many authentic places with amazing food and a lovely atmosphere. Transportation in Málaga was super easy. You can walk almost everywhere, and even the airport is only about 25–30 minutes away. The only place that was a bit difficult to reach was Caminito del Rey. Looking back, it would have been much easier to book a tour with transportation included, because the train schedules are limited — especially for the return trip — and taxis can cost around €60–80 one way. For young couples, Málaga is perfect for romantic walks by the marina, sunset cocktails, exploring the old town together, beach days, rooftop bars, and simply enjoying the relaxed and lively atmosphere of the city.

It's a lot more touristy and crowded than I expected.

It's a lot more touristy and crowded than I expected. If you're a retired couple looking for a place to do a lot of drinking and laying on beach chairs getting fried, this is probably the place for you. Wall-to-wall bars, restaurants and touristy shops. I guess I should have done more research before coming here. I would still come back to the area, but I would use the Malaga airport as a staging area for visiting other areas that are reasonably close -- Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda ...

Marbella is an amazing destination-beautiful beaches, fantastic restaurants, and a great atmosphere throughout. The old town is especially charming with its lovely streets and authentic Spanish feel. The hotel experience made it even better: breakfast was excellent with both buffet and à la carte options included, and the quality of the Spanish produce was outstanding. A perfect mix of relaxation, great food, and luxury.

Get up early in the morning (by 7) and go visit the Puente Nuevo before all the tourists are there. There's also a path that you can take down underneath the bridge and that view is the best one and very few people seem to take it/know about it. There are waterfalls under the bridge that you can only see from below. The path is very well maintained. I read about it in a guidebook (which is already back at the library). We accessed the path via a little plaza a few blocks away from the actual bridge. We went to a Spanish guitar concert -- they are offered every night at 7. The guy was entertaining and talented. It's a 50-minute show - perfect. Go to Michelangelo's for pizza, the best tomato salad and excellent Tinto de Verano! They are closed on Wednesday nights, otherwise we'd have returned for a second time.

Nice tourists place on the sea with many activities, good food and wines, a big variety of restaurants and coffee shops. You can meet all expectations there starting from morning coffee con leche and ending day with tasty gelatos (Roma, Australian, etc)😊 Don’t stuck on same restaurants, explore more. Seafood is so good! Many small restaurants on the beach ( like on the photos). Taste gambonas, bouqironas in vinagre(Malaga style), enjoy all wines and sangria. Visit German restaurant Ku’ Damm, where started missing your food👌 There are many music and dancing places👌👏

Love Nerja and surrounding area.

Love Nerja and surrounding area. Lots to do if you want to be more active . Nice local beaches if you want to relax. Plenty of bars restaurants to choose from tho some of the more popular need prior booking. Some of the beaches have slopes or many stairs to get access to them so be careful if you have mobility issues or babies in buggies. I'm recovering from a knee replacement and fractured ankle and did it albeit slowly!

We've come to La Cala many times, but not for a few years. It never disappoints. La Cala has a good range of eating places and a pleasant beach. La Cala has a good balance between being lively but not too quiet. It is family friendly. Being a keen runner, I especially love the boardwalk, which is ever-extending! Good bus links into Fuengirola and beyond.
