We love this hotel! This is the second year we stay there and it's great! The service is very good and friendly. We had issues with our first room but the staff were kind enough to move us to a better room when it was available. Great pool area, always lively and something fun going on at night. Great location with good restaurants and beaches close by. Love this place!

I've been to Malaga a dozen times, for stays ranging from a night to a week as it's the arrivals and jumping-off point for Spain's Andalusia region, which I visit every year or two. I seldom stay for more than a few nights these days as it's so very touristy but it's always a pleasant stay for a look-in at the Picasso Museum or maybe some shopping and a nice meal or two before I set off to elsewhere along the coast. These days I prefer the somewhat less-touristy northern fringe of the Centro Historico if I'm staying longer, La Goleta, San Felipe, etc.

Marbella is rich with exciting cafes and lovely shops. Prices are pretty reasonable in the stores. everything was close to the location including grocery shops. Above the boardwalk on the 7th floor made for a great view on the balcony. It's well equipped for making your own meals if you should choose. Bed was very comfy. If not for the 11 days of rain (bad timing - storm Leonardo) it would have been a perfect holiday. didn't get out as much as I had hoped due to the inclement weather.

We had train passes, but due to the recent accident and landslides, the train lines were down. We were advised to buy bus tickets, which we did, and we much enjoyed the ride. But we never got the value of our eurail pass and were a bit surprised about the information we received in Malaga and Granada train stations -- the train staff are poorly informed. The train service station in Ronda however was excellent. Ronda is beautiful and well worth a visit.

Really did exceed expectations.

Really did exceed expectations. The Hotel (Casa Consistorial), the weather, and the Fuengirola all better than expected. This was a short break with 5 couples staying 3-4 nights. The choice of bars and restaurants was excellent, with a really nice atmosphere around the central square and alleyways of the town. Really nice along the beach front, although the Marina wasn't that great. Some friends caught the bus to Mijas which they raved about. We will definitely be going back again

Concern on damage to beaches caused by the sea. We have visited Nerja for the past 20 years and were surprised at the amount of damage to the beach's particularly at Burrianna beach Otherwise the town and surroundings were up to the usual very high standard Love Playa de Salon for a swim La Dama & little Italy for value Scarletta's food is magic. Mena Jardin for brunch/lunch is magic Lovely walks with lots of variety

I know Spain very well.

I know Spain very well. I can say with confidence that Estepona is one of its nicest cities/towns. It is one big garden. Cars and traffic are kept well away from the sea front or the old town. Hundreds of thousands of plants, mature trees and flowers. It retained its old traditional houses. It is like stepping back in time, the 50s and 60s. If you want to see the contrast, visit Mallorca or Majorca then go to Estepona. The difference is the difference between day and night. If you want night clubs, resturants touting for business, game arcades or tacky gift shops, don't go to Estepona.

We loved El Torcal- will return to do more routes but, even for non- walkers,a trip to see the rocks and view from the mirador is well worth it. The dolmens- such a peaceful area- need to return to go into the visitor centre. Tourist information- lovely, helpful lady. Wandering around the old areas- so untouristy, truly Spanish and beautiful. The Alcazabar( not the horrid posters advertising the Indiana Jones event nor that event which ruins the space in the Collegiate.) Great food. Short distance to Fuente de Piedra and the flamingos. Short distance to the amazing belene museum- will deffo return there.
