Home of the Beautiful People
The most exclusive Costa del Sol resort, Marbella stands for beaches and beautiful people. Expensive yachts line the marinas here and in nearby Puerto Banús, where supercars outnumber saloons. It also has the best clubs, as well as designer shops and trendy fish restaurants. Look out for the celebrities that holiday here or live on the Golden Mile, home to only the fanciest villas and Marbella hotels.
Marbella beaches stretch over 16 miles, all set against the backdrop of spectacular mountains, best viewed from a boat. You might even spot a dolphin. The beaches at Puerto Banús and San Pedro Alcántara have a Blue Flag, while the most popular are Venus and La Fontanilla in the town centre. Artola Beach also has protected dunes.
Attractions in Marbella include the 10 Dalí sculptures on Avenida del Mar, and the cobbled Old Town streets lined with colourful Andalusian-style houses. Picturesque Orange Square has pavement cafes under the shade of orange trees, and nearby are remains of a Moorish castle and the 16th-century town walls.
Other well-heeled pursuits include horseracing at the Hipodromo Costa del Sol, and the area’s golf courses, including one designed by national hero Seve Ballesteros.
Malaga Airport is the nearest and Booking.com has a great range of accommodation in Marbella and the surrounding villages.

Marbella Old Town well worth a visit and easy to walk around. Horse and carriage rides (half hour or one hour) available next to the central park area. Great walk along the sea front promenade with its shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as great ice creams!

Stayed at Guadalpin Suites.
Stayed at Guadalpin Suites. Suite Standard was good, but unfortunately no facilities open in hotel. Cabane Beach Bar, was very good with 2 sunbeds ^ a Parasol for 30Euros best rate I could find on Marbella Beach also plays 80s music, 5Euros pint bottle

Great beach locations and bars , old town excellent for lane shopping and dining. Cheap taxi's and great locals , we managed to stay during the world cup and was very buzzy.

Marbella it self is good nice clean beaches plenty of beer bars and restaurants on the beach and nearby streets main area was only 3km from where I stayed
Overall it was good apart from my villa land lord still not refund my deposit

Marvelous City, it is for sure a reference / the best benchmark of how a touristic resort should look like and offer. Marbella is perfect, location, infrastructure, cleanness, restaurants, promenade, vegetation, renovated and beautiful old town. Do not miss visiting Marbella.

The Old Town had an authentic feel, with some gems of tapas restaurants and lovely little cobbles streets. The promenade was amazing in the morning for a seafront run or long walk. It was also packed with restaurants, bars, boutiques - just lovely.
The Saturday Nueva Puerto Banus Mercadillo (market) is worth visiting as it has some lovely artisan items with a typical Mediterranean/North African vibe.
Not so keen on Puerto Banus area itself as it had a much more manicured, luxurious, Insta-ready, touristy feel, but I am sure some people would like it!

Property is in amazing location, not far from Marbella center, and only 5min walk to the sea in safe and beautiful area.You can feel amazing atmosphere of Spain in it because of terace and furniture inside and there are all tools and things you might need for staying for longer. Hosts are amazing people who try to share their advices and recommendations. You also get some bonus when staying-outside if you want you can play with two amazing friendly dogs. It was the best place to stay in Spain and not only in it.

My stay at Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel completely welcome. The rooms were spotless and beautifully styled, the food was fresh and full of flavour, and the beachfront views were just breathtaking. Every part of the hotel — from the rooftop bar to the poolside vibe — had this amazing energy that made it easy to relax, unwind, and just enjoy every moment.

Hotel is in a great position within an easy stroll of Orange Square in Marbella old town. Even in January there were plenty of foodie options close by to choose from. In Summer it would also be an easy stroll down to the Marbella beaches.
