The most exclusive Costa del Sol resort, Marbella stands for beaches and beautiful people. Expensive yachts line the marinas here and in nearby Puerto Banús, where supercars outnumber saloons. It also has the best clubs, as well as designer shops and trendy fish restaurants. Look out for the celebrities that holiday here or live on the Golden Mile, home to only the fanciest villas and Marbella hotels.
Marbella beaches stretch over 16 miles, all set against the backdrop of spectacular mountains, best viewed from a boat. You might even spot a dolphin. The beaches at Puerto Banús and San Pedro Alcántara have a Blue Flag, while the most popular are Venus and La Fontanilla in the town centre. Artola Beach also has protected dunes.
Attractions in Marbella include the 10 Dalí sculptures on Avenida del Mar, and the cobbled Old Town streets lined with colourful Andalusian-style houses. Picturesque Orange Square has pavement cafes under the shade of orange trees, and nearby are remains of a Moorish castle and the 16th-century town walls.
Other well-heeled pursuits include horseracing at the Hipodromo Costa del Sol, and the area’s golf courses, including one designed by national hero Seve Ballesteros.
Malaga Airport is the nearest and Booking.com has a great range of accommodation in Marbella and the surrounding villages.

It was my first visit to Marbella, we happened to pick the old town which I am so pleased about. It was beautiful, lots of little streets leading to squares. So many restaurants to choose from, we had fantastic meals every night, we loved sitting in orange square at the end of the night for a night cap!
Beach wasn’t far, we always found sunbeds and umbrella but they are very close together!
We throughly enjoyed the visit and will go back.

Loved Marbella - very pretty old town, lovely restaurants and a great beachfront. I didn't stumble across any rowdy tourist dives, the other tourists I met all seemed very civilized and respectful of Spanish culture (but I was in bed early and it was out of season so maybe i just missed that side of things). Id love to go back next Spring, it was perfect for a long weekend (and I could easily spend a week there).

The old town is loveley have been many times, plenty to do lots of nice shops and the mall LE Canada is not far, and Corte Inglais in Puerto Banus is woth a trip. Marbella club is still nice for a meal and a nice new beach club at the Punto Romano, sadly Villa Tiberio has closed, end of an era!
It has got more crowded along the fron in Marbella now, we went in June, and you cannot move for the lucky lucky men selling fake bags and tat, they were a bit of a pest.

The hotel is right in the heart of old town Marbella, with its many shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms and facilities are spacious and clean. The hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly and can't do enough for you. The breakfast on the roof terrace is very special too. We were treated very well and would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is in such a useful location in close proximity of the promenade and easy walking distance to both Marbella town approximately 30 minutes and Puerto Banus approximately 1 hr.
There are great facilities in the hotel such as indoor and outdoor pool, spa and treatment rooms and the buffet breakfast is good value for money.
Lovely decor throughout the hotel, super friendly staff every single one of them! Perfect location, have been to Marbella a number of times and Hotel Lima is easily the most perfectly located hotel. 2 minute walk to the Old Town, 2 minute walk to the Port, 5 mins to the Golden Mile.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful inside and out! The decor is gorgeous and the staff were friendly.
The location however really was the best place in the old town and so close to the beaches and easy ride to puerto banus. Perfectly placed to see all Marbella has to offer!
Fantastic hotel in an excellent location close to the old town and right on the beach. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. My favourite hotel in Marbella.
