Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to be soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laidback coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. Top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.
Where do I start? Seville is a wonderful city to get lost in. I spent 4 days and I feel like I haven't seen it all, in every corner there is something to see and explore. People are friendly and polite, very helpful, and the food is glorious. The holiday's highlights for me where Plaza de España and the Royal Alcazar but I also found the Cathedral, La Giralda and the Macarena quarter particularly beautiful. Triana quarter is also a fantastic place to get lost into! I wish I could have stayed another week. It's really easy to get around the city, me and my friend walked basically everywhere and you feel safe. My friend was leaving early so the last night I spent alone and in the early morning I had to walk from my accommodation to Plaza de Armas (bus station) to get the airport shuttle bus at 4:30am. It was a 15mins walk from the accommodation to the bus station and as I was walking alone I was a bit worried but actually I felt quite safe.

Reliable and affordable transport services.
Reliable and affordable transport services. Many historic sites to see, the monuments are well kept and generally clean. No where is far to walk and again there is a host of transport services like buses, taxi, trams. The cost to visit site are very affordable. The lines in September were very manageable not too crowded. Great selection of food, managed to find a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. While many of the local shops did observe the siesta time, which I respect, many shops were remained open to cater to the tourists. The surrounding are generally well kept and clean and sustainability practices like recycling are carried out. I would opt to buy a guided tour because on two occasions I decided to do the self guided tour and got lost in the order and flow of the tour. I eventually just looked around without any guidance. Overall loved Seville. There is Tapas everywhere but I did not part take because of being vegetarian.

The one thing we love about Seville is that is well sign-posted. It's easy to work out which street you're in and there are plenty of tourist signs to mark all the major attractions. We used the HOHO bus which was great to get our bearings and loved hearing about the history of the city. The river cruise for an hour was also a highlight. We loved everything about Seville. Great food, flamenco shows,

It is quite compact - it is easy to visit the Cathedral & Giralda and the Alcazar in one day.
There is a good hop-on-hop-off tourist bus, which is an easy way to get an overview of the city.
There's lots of choice of flamenco shows
Hotel Fernando III was outstanding in every way! we arrived and needed to store our bags for 24 hours before check in which they allowed. The location is fantastic, only 900m to the Cathedral, Real Alcazar and main parts of old town. Our room was well appointed and serviced daily with a gorgeous balcony to allow us some outside time. The bed was comfy, shower was divine and the pool and rooftop area was stunning!
on our last day after 6 nights in Seville we came back to our room to a bottle of champagne to thank us for our patronage.
Room cleanliness was exemplary, bed extremely comfortable, spacious room, very good wi-fi and very kindly staff.
Easy to get to the old town, the hotel being next to the subway (2 stops to the centre), tram (T1) and bus stations or by walking, within no more half an hour. From the airport you can take the EA bus (20-30 min to get to the hotel). From San Bernardo train station, which is nearby to the hotel, you can take the train to go to the cities near Seville (Cordoba, Jerez de la Frontera, etc.).
The hotel is very centally situated in the Old Town of Seville. It is a grand Hotel and our room was super in more ways than one. It was clean- comfortable- had all the amenities we required to make our stay exceptional.
Also the Breakfast is exceptional.. So much good food to choose from that you are truly spoiled for choice. It was the best breakfast I had so far in all my years of travel.
Best bed we stayed in during our time in Spain - and we slept very well. The location is great: Centrally located in Seville with quick access to train station and airport. The hotel was in a dead-end road and therefore rather silent, given the location. No neighbors could be heard. Good storage solutions and tasty complimentary water.
The hotel is centrally located to visit as much as possible in Seville. Lovely décor to match the location within the Old Town. Free tea/coffee nearly all day long. Room was large enough for the three of us.
