This property really was exceptional. It is run by the friars of a monastery and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms combine simplicity with great practicality, making very good use of space. The optional buffet breakfast provided by the friars is very good and excellent value.

We, my partner and I had just walked the 5 day camino to caravaca de la Cruz. She had problems with her feet which meant she was unable to walk far at the time. The owner, acknowledged that there had been a delay in breakfast and a few problems needed ironing out after only opening the hotel five days earlier… so imagine our surprise when he offered us a lift into caravaca and gave us a brief tour of his town. He did not have to do that. It shows good intentions and a good heart. We can’t thank him enough for that generous gesture. Give this hotel time to bed in and I think this will be an excellent place to stay.

The location was PERFECT. Everything was close by and there was a restaurant right below with very good food. The best part, was that the owners treated me like a guest in their house.

Don't go if you are a vegetarian.

Don't go if you are a vegetarian. Restaurants say veggie friendly, but they are not. Finally found some vegetables and grandma's potatoes in 'Sol'.Also parking is very difficult, with most carparks being at the base of the hill. So a steep walk up with cases. There were lots of roads being dug up when we were there meaning there were diversions which put Google maps in a spin.

Beautiful buildings in the old quarter.

Beautiful buildings in the old quarter. There was live music in several places ranging from classical to modern. Great food in the restaurants in that area too. I recommend the food at bar El Sol and el Mesoncico. The views from nearby Paseo and Plaza del Castillo are beautiful too. I found that bars away from the old quarter, in the Gran Via, were too crowded and noisy.

This was a cute boutique hotel in the heart of the town, comfortable bed, nice shower with good shower head, excellent breakfast. However the hotel is very hard to find. If a very helpful local hadn’t given me a ride, I’d still be circling the town on foot. Also, maybe I missed it in the listing, but there are two flights of very narrow stairs up to the rooms. I am a very fit 72 year old with a carry on sized suitcase and it was fine for me but others might find it very difficult.

Convenient to the centre of Cehegin and nearby restaurants. On arrival we were met and shown around by a lovely lady who made us feel really welcome. The apartment was clean with comfortable beds and everything supplied for a self catering stay. Will definitely use this property again if visiting Cehegin..

The house was beautifully decorated. It is quirky and has kept the characteristics of an old house. It is spotlessly clean. It is a beautiful part of the Old town of Cehegin. Highly recommended!
