Therese and Gisle were the most attentive and friendly hosts I have ever met. Whatever we needed they were always there to make our stay incredible. Their mini Hotel is between the Mediterranean and Minor sea so there is always a light breeze in their garden. The pool was incredible even if small. With a salty water, super clean and with a perfect pool service. It has jacuzzi jets so you could enjoy a massage in the evening. I enjoyed floating there and letting everything go. I can only recommend this place. It should be rated with 7 stars. Theresa is a great cook. The breakfast was really good and the lunch we sometimes ordered was spectacular. Big thank you to both of them for making our stay so happy.

Great food, friendly personnel, everything worked. Not the most modern cabins or the comfiest beds, but included all that we needed and more. The host took really good care of us, even though there was a mixup in the meal package we ordered. They even prepared nice takeaway breakfast bags for us for 2 mornings when we had to hit the road before breakfast time.

Lovely city with various types of museums.

Lovely city with various types of museums. We went to the archaeological museum which we could have spent all day there. We ate at a lovely restaurant called Salzillo, enjoying fresh cooked food and the staff were approachable and friendly. We walked along the river , the paths were mostly free from rubbish. It was easier walking round Murcia on foot than driving.

The hotel I had booked into was closed but I wasn’t told until I got there. I had booked a room with balcony and bath. No balcony at new hotel and bath plug didn’t fit so I couldn’t have a bath. Couldn’t regulate the air conditioning so had to open window to allow cool air in. Food mediocre, eg smoked salmon covered in oil which overpowered taste. I booked two massages which were fantastic!

We checked in but left again after 30 min. Many facilities were not as advertised. Winebar under renovation, restaurant closed for long time. I never leave bad reviews as there should be place for human error, but this was a very poor overall experience. Rude receptionist, no flexibility, no transparency and simply wrongly advertised. Avoid.

Lorca is a really interesting place with lots of history and many great museums. Everyone we met was passionate about the traditions and celebrations of them. There are a myriad of bars and restaurants. The town looked fab in its Christmas lights and decorations. We will definitely back - probably for Semana Santa despite not being religious. The passion and the dedication were evident in the museums and info. We would like to witness that.

There are 3 main areas that I found , the old town where I stayed full of culture and good traditional restaurants, the 525 Plaza area again full of bars and restaurants, the bars including English / Irish ones, and further along the Urbanisacion Oasis area where there are more restaurants and bars. There is also the main road Avenida de la Libertad, where there are numerous supermarkets, restaurants ( including Chinese / Indian / Nepali), etc. There was a general friendliness about the place. If starting from the Old Town and going via Avda de La Libertad, walking takes 27 minutes to 525and a further 16 minutes to Urb Oasis. Maybe on my next trip I'll find where the padel, pickleball and walking groups are! There were certainly lots of things for the nautically minded people to do.

San Pedro del Pinatar is a wonderful coastal town that exceeded my expectations in every way. It offers a perfect balance between relaxing beach life, beautiful nature and great local amenities. The beaches are long, clean and very calm, ideal for peaceful walks, swimming or simply enjoying the sun. One of the highlights of the area is the natural park with salt lakes, where you can watch flamingos up close — an unforgettable and almost surreal experience. The famous mud baths are another unique attraction, known for their therapeutic properties and something everyone should try at least once. The town itself is very convenient: plenty of cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and everything you need within a short distance. San Pedro del Pinatar has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and feels both safe and comfortable. It’s a perfect destination for families, couples or anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful place by the sea. I would gladly return.

Totana as a city does not seem to offer much.

Totana as a city does not seem to offer much. It appeared quite dead on Sat. afternoon, we had troubles to find a restaurant for lunch, multiple places shown on google maps appeared to be closed. There is a Sanctuary up on the hill and a statue with a nice view onto the valley up to the sea, and too late we realized that just behind there is a middle age village Aledo to visit.
