The view over the gorge was spectacular. The room was large and spotlessly clean. Veronica is a lovely host and the breakfast was great.

Not sure why this hotel is only 2 stars. It is very comfortable and clean. The room was well fitted and up to date. There was even a coffee maker in the room. The shower worked well which is always a bonus and the bathroom was spacious. The dining room was beautifully designed quite modern and very attractive. The food was amazing and quite unexpected in such a small town. It was the best food we have eaten in a long time and showed the chefs skills and ingenuity off so well. You would really only expect to find this standard in a big city. Try the oxtail doughnut - OMG and the cheesecake dessert - so clever!

Complimentary bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Breakfast was included, and was very good. Very close to bars and restaurants. Lovely Spanish village hidden away in a beautiful valley. Will most certainly be visiting again soon.

HS Alcalá is set by Jucar River. The air-conditioned guest house features free Wi-Fi and impressive views. Each modern room with colourful details offers a flat-screen TV.
