It was a beautiful apartment, well equiped, spotless clean and the host communicate in good English via videocall and whatsapp, that was very helpfull. He gave extra advise on restaurants etc. We cooked a home meal in the kitchen.

Combarro is a beautiful fishing village which has preserved much of its character. Casa Noelmar is right in the village in a beautiful building. We had the apartment in the top floor under the roof. There are lots of windows so that the apartment is well lit. It was clean, fully equipped and the beds were comfortable (but see remark below). The house as own places in a private parking, which is about 400m away (all street in he village are pedestrian streets). Check-in was easy and personal, because the hosts, who were very friendly, Waite for us when we arrived.

The location is perfect in the middle of the centro historico. Restaurants and bars next door. Very calm and quiet despite being so close to everything. Brand new renovated apartment with everything you could need – they even had a hair straightener! 😅👏 The owner was super nice and fast to reply and arrive. The ocean view and access from the outdoor space is just amazing, big plus!

We loved it here. So comfortable and relaxing. We stayed two night - a Camino mini break to rest, swim in the sea, read & relax. I’m afraid I don’t know the name of the owner, but she was so helpful and came immediately when we needed help with the hot tub. Comfortable beds, beautiful linen, everything was perfect

Combarro is a small town with a historic past.

Combarro is a small town with a historic past. Well worth visiting are the old fisheman's quarters by the shore which now provide excellent seafood restaurants and tasteful tourist shops. Combarro provides several boat excursions to nearby islands and other places of interest.

Beautiful house and garden!

Beautiful house and garden! The apartment is spacious and clean, the location is perfect, and the host is very reachable and easy to communicate with. It was very helpful to have the parking space nearby. I wish we had more time to spend here!

Old area of Combarro is beautifully preserved.

Old area of Combarro is beautifully preserved. Having a car it is a great base for exploring and enjoying the gorgeous beaches specially further west along the coast. I was however looking forward to a change of restaurants after a week in Combarro as the emphasis is understandably on fish. Restaurant O Bocoi was good and Taberna Leucoina was great tho pricer. Old town is very compact but with steps, the main town is easy to navigate.

What a fantastic village. I will return. Very traditional and full of charm. Loads of great bars and restaurants selling locally sourced produce. The local people are so friendly and went out of tbeir way to help

There are 2 streets intended for tourists.

There are 2 streets intended for tourists. You can walk those slowly. After that, you can walk for exercise and then walk every possible town street slowly within 2 hours. So, it's tiny, but this mariner village is exquisite, and an absolute Must-see. The architecture is unique to the area, the artesanal shops are fun and plentiful (a half dozen or so), and there is little better than to sit and relax and enjoy chiperones, pimientos de Padrón, etc., on any terrace overlooking the river. This town is beautiful day and night. There are plenty of places to eat well. If you come for the beaches, beware. They are extremely small, and offer no parasols or lounge chairs for rent. In fact, the beaches are too small for all that stuff. And beware of the tide cycle. The tides cycle out of the river gulf, or inlet, so that instead of a hot day swimming, you may enjoy only a curious time walking 🚶 the bed and seeing some boats dry docked. You'll have to time your swimming with the tide cycle, which changes about 4 times every 24 hours, so be aware of that. And, it is not exactly for swimming, but more for wading and cooling off in. It is perfect if you're traveling with small kids or the elderly that do not enjoy depth or waves. Here the water is for wading, sitting and cooling in. Very calm and tranquil. Also, be aware that Google maps is NOT up to date. For example, it shows the restaurant, "Porta do Mar Asador" as open with great reviews when, in fact, the place closed permanently in 2020, so change your plan. Alternatives are abundant, so, no worries.

I loved the view out over the bay from the balcony, and the apartment was very nice and well equipped. Federico gave us some restaurant recommendations, which was most appreciated. I'm pretty sure I spotted dolphins out in the bay several times. We had a rest day in Combarro, while doing the camino. It was a great spot to have an extra night.

Cute apartment in the beautiful town of Combarro. Kitchen and bathroom have a bit of an older feeling but the apartment is very clean and comfortable. Heater available and highly appreciated. The host met me in person and was very helpful (helped me find a taxi last minute when the taxi that I had booked canceled on me).

Stayed here while walking the camino and the hotel is right on the trail! The room was nice and clean. There wa salso a rooftop terrace with great veiws and beds for sunbathing. The owner was very kind and helpful.
