We stayed here for 5 nights whilst touring the Picos and surrounding area on our motorbike. We booked half board and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, with great views, the food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent and a garage to park the bike was great. It was a perfect location to explore the area with many of the must do sights and roads within easy reach. We would highly recommend this hotel and are already planning our next visit!

Hotel Plaza is good if you're a budget traveler. The place is just a walking distance from all the attractions in Cangas de Onis. The room is of decent size and the bathroom is just right for my petite size. Other people might complain of the noise as it got a bar downstairs, but as a person who cannot sleep if it's too quiet, I find it a blessing. Even though I don't speak Spanish, I feel welcome and they use a translator to communicate.

I liked everything about the property especially given the price but above all its location, 5 minute walk from the Sanctuary and Basilica complex allowing for an early start to explore Covadonga before the main wave of visitors arrive. Brilliantly placed too for the short if complicated drive ( if traveling in your own car) up to the Picos de Europa and the lakes.

Breakfast was with attention prepared and has a lot of variation. I especially like the home made jams and cakes. The host is very welcoming. Location is quite compared to the nearby Cangas de Onis center, which is very touristic. There is enough parking place outside, which is also a plus point. In a word, good value for the price.

Homey feeling, cozy and welcoming. The hosts are so warm, attentive, very polite and professional. The small village is perfect for relaxation and feeling surrounded by nature with a genuine atmosphere of sharing the local people lifestyle. We will be back!

I had a wonderful stay! The location is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The hotel is very cozy and has a lot of character with a beautiful garden. The room was lovely, good bed, very nice view and was very clean, I couldn’t wish for more. Patricia and Maria were such lovely people. Despite me not speaking a word of Spanish, we had our conversations via Google translate and it worked perfect (next time I will learn a little bit more Spanish ;) I couldn’t recommend this beautiful hotel more!
