It was really nice, polite and professional staff. The room was big enough for the extra bed that we needed and even the third bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was not included when booked through Booking however it was 45€ for the three of us and it was great! Good quality, great selection and comfortable breakfast area. I just wanted to mention once again the great staff, as it is them who make all this happen.

Great location of the hotel in the center of Bilbao, opposite the Guggenheim museum. Friendly and polite staff, always willing to help. Service was professional, fast and efficient at all times. I also had a free room upgrade. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Turn down service was also a plus. Nice decoration all over the hotel. There is also a cafe/restaurant and a roof garden with a magnificent view where you can relax. All the dishes/snacks I tried were really tasty. Overall, it was one of the best hotels I have stayed so far and I hope to visit it again!

Everything can be reached on foot or by public transport, which is also very cheap, especially with the BARIK Card. Bilbao is a buzzing city with many museums, restaurants, neighborhoods and sights to see. People of Bilbao love to spend time outdoors as a family. It was lovely seeing 3 generations together. I loved Guggenheim Museum. Their wifi is not working though so beware. Walking along the river is a must. Bridges are worth seeing. Friday and Saturday nights are very busy therefore make reservations in the restaurants long before you want to go.

Great former industrial city that hsa successfully transformed itself into a destination. The Basque region is lovely and verdant, with mountains and rivers and provides a refreshing landscape from the southern cities. The Guggenheim museum in Bilbao is great — not overwhelming (like the Prado in Madrid), and perfect for an afternoon (especially if you can use it to avoid a few hours of rain!). It rains a lot here, but we got pretty lucky for early November, and were barely bothered by it. Storm Ciarán hit nearby while we were here, and produced some incredible winds that took down tree branches everywhere, but in truly efficient fashion, city crews had everything tidied up in the morning. City center shopping, and areas near the river are relatively flat, and make for great strolling, but there are also some cool areas that involve climbing stairs for an apparent eternity. But even those areas almost always offer outdoor, publicly-accessible elevators to get you up to the top if you need! The architecture is stunning, Old Town is fantastic, and there were decent options for vegetarian dining, from quick pintxos to nicer dining-and-cocktails restaurants. Shoutout to the crowded, busy, but delicious Trozo Pizzeria (including many vegan pizza options). Be prepared to wait a bit at dinner, but we'd do it again.Spud_BoyUnited States - 10
We spent a wonderful 5 days there.
We spent a wonderful 5 days there. Great city and great people. We loved the atmosphere of the Ribera district and drinking Kalimotxo in small local restaurants and bars. We were surprised by a number of interesting things offered by the City. The New Atletic Bilbao stadium and museum was very impressive. The only disappointment for us was the Guggenheim Museum, but that is just a question of taste. All the rest was simply great.
