This stylish hotel is in central Córdoba's beautiful Jewish Quarter, next to the Roman Temple Ruins. Featuring 5 Andalusian-style patios, it offers rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Everything was great! We booked a slightly bigger room and we were surprised by the size of it. The room was clean and looked chic. We were welcomed with cava and sweets in our room, something we didn't expect at all. The hotel has several courtyards so it's a treat to take a stroll through the entire complex. On the lower floor there's even a glass floor that shows ruins of an older building on which the hotel was built. It's located in the middle of Cordoba but we mostly walked our way to the river to visit tourist attractions like Mezquita, but I would recommend to also walk the other way. We only found out on our last evening in Cordoba that it has a huge and bustling city center on the other side.

We visited Cordoba to see the Patio festival. During the annual May festival private gardens are open to visitors. They are not big gardens but small patio gardens of the townspeople. We took a walking guided tour . It is possible to see the gardens without booking a guided tour. It was a most enjoyable experience. While we visited Cordoba specifically to see the Patio gardens the undisputed highlight of our trip was our visit to the Cathedral/Mosque. It is breath-taking. We needed more than one overnight stay in Cordoba. We will return hopefully to further explore.
Cordoba is a beautiful city, with many interesting sites and wonderful walking. The gardens were sumptuous and the Mosquita Cathedral well worth the hype. The patios were in full boom and wonderful to see. We really enjoyed our stay in Cordoba, would have loved an extra night or two to take in the equestrian show, or head a bit further or of town to explore more of the fascinating history of the area.
I am a city walker, I am fond of the churches and the monuments of Cordoba. I like shopping in the streets near the Mezquita. I like to buy leather items from Meryan in the Calleja de las Flores. I recommend the restaurant El Jardin del Delirio in Avenida de Cadiz 43. I highly recommend to visit Cordoba during the Fiesta de los Patios.
We enjoyed Cordoba. We arrived around 6 p.m. (after a nightmare drive to the hotel due to road closures for a major fair that we didn't know about - despite checking for events) and left the next morning around 11 a.m. Would recommend not driving - and instead take the train for a day trip - though the lights at night were beautiful.
An attractive city, with excellent bus and train connections. Especially attractive in May when the traditional Patios of Cordoba are opened to display their colourful and interesting plants and flowers.
The history is the reason we went and we were not disappointed. From Roman times, through the moors and then the Spanish kings - what an interesting and varied history. Cordoba today, in our experience, has its own, unique style - we found it quite different from other Spanish cities in Andalusia - inc the food.
Córdoba
It was one of the best locations in Spain so far, super comfortable furniture (bed and sofa, also a little table for work) inside a room and common space, almost absolutely silent space with relaxing sound of water coming through windows, peace and air conditioning. There was even space for little cooking! Apartaments are located inside a patio in a very peaceful area of Córdoba, quite close to main must-sees, but also close to non-touristic attractions, like very local bars and churches.
The location at Plaza de las Tendillas is perfect, 8 min walk to Jewish Quarter, Alcazar and Mezquita. Public Garage 100 meter from hotel (20 euro 24hrs, reservation recommended). Staff exceptionally polite and professional, quality hotel impecable and worth 5 star rating. Breakfast very good. Roof Terrace with Barservice overlooking Plaza de las Tendillas. Junior Suite is specious with nice balcony, excellent beds.
Córdoba
location. it was very central close to everything. it was nicely decorated with a beautiful view over the plaza. The beds were really comfortable, I had the best sleep whilst travelling in Spain. very quiet. easy check in. easy check out. The company that runs the apartment were very facilitating and understanding and when we booked more nights by mistake they allowed us to cancel waiving the fees.
The clerk at check in was fantastic, he was very enthusiastic and friendly. Gave us a map and told us about the best things to do/places to eat in Cordoba. The location is superb, literally right next to the Mosque Cathedral and within walking distance to everything. Great value for the location. The hotel is very charming and beautiful with a nice terrace inside of it as well.
Very friendly staff. Excellent swimming pool for a hotel in the center. In August it was certainly the best choice to have a hotel with a decent pool. Excellent location when coming by car. Getting to the third level of the parking was a bit of a challenge with a big rental car, but nothing unusual for Spain. Breakfast was very good. We would definitively come back with the family
By far, the best hotel I’ve stayed in on my biking trip around Andalucia. The breakfast was wonderful: homemade bread and preserves (instead of the same old jelly packages everywhere else), fresh fruit and an delicious tomato, avocado and cheese item. And to top it all off, Manuel brews a few delicious ales, which he stocks the minibars with. Look no further in Cordoba!
- Location: in front of the Great Mosque of Cordoba, and a walking distance from everything you need in the historic city. - Staff: there’s a man named Luka, he speaks English better than Shakespeare, and he’s more knowledgeable than chatGPT and Wikipedia. He explained everything in Spain. - I can confirm this hotel is clean. I liked it.
Receptionist (Rafa) was very kind and helpful, took care of everything, even drove car to the parking lot. He recommended best places for dining nearby as well. Hotel is in downtown within walking distance to all Cordoba's spots. There is a traditional Cordoba's patio inside hotel. Room itself was very clean and quiet.
Marta greeted us warmly, offered us water, and gave us an orientation to the hotel and to Cordoba. The breakfast of toasted bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, orange juice, coffee and fruit wad delicious. The hotel Islands is very modern and beautiful. It is built with white sculptural firms reminiscent of the Greek islands.
nice hotel, very central, right next to the mosque. with parking underground which is great if you drive to Córdoba. it’s a bit old fashioned but they manage to keep it quite a contemporary decor and luxurious, floors and bathrooms are made of natural stone. I like it a lot, stayed for two nights.
The location with a room facing the Mezquita was very nice and the staff was super helpful and kind. Breakfast was good (the coffee could be better, but that is true of even the best hotels I've encountered in Spain). This hotel was very good value for the price and I would stay again.
Córdoba
The Apartamentos Casa Del Aceite is a beautiful boutique hotel centrally located in Cordoba. We stayed in the "off-season" and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The receptionist reached out ahead of time to coordinate check-in time and everything went very smoothly. Highly recommend!
Great staff very friendly and helpful, a little far from the central town, definitely need a car to get back into the city. Older hotel great value for money, we needed for 1 night to visit the sights. Restaurant on premises was the best meal we’ve had in Spain.
The hotel is in the center of Cordoba, everything is at walking distance. The staff was very nice, and they gave us very detailed information about all the places we could visit.
Everything was great, the location, value for money, communication, cleanliness... One of the best accommodations we had while travelling in Spain.
Córdoba
Very cosy apartment, great price/quality ratio! One of the best experiences in Spain
Superb Location in old Cordoba Interesting architecture of the hotel
