LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. CORDOBA!!! Warm and friendly people. Beautiful architectures. Regret that we only stayed here 2 nights. Must stay here at least 4 nights!!! Bucket list places to visit, checked!
Aside from the Mezquita, there are plenty of other old and magnificent churches. There was a special route to visit 6 or 7 other churches associated with King Ferdinand and all of them were spectacular. I visited in winter, but the gardens at Palacio de Viana were still beautiful (although not flowering). Plenty of great stuff for photographers! The gardens at the Alcazar were also pretty, even in winter. The free period to visit the Mezquita was nice to get a first look but I also went back a 2nd time during the paying period to view the cathedral part a little better, as well as the treasury.
a city not to be missed. the mezquita is a world wonder and the surrounding neighborhood, the juderia, is an interesting place to get `lost´in. a pleasant stroll along the walls, and through the roman bridge is a great way to relish what was once a great city.
With little kids we were glad we brought our collapsible wagon. It’s definitey a walking city and wonderful to see from inside the honeycomb of small streets. Imagine the crowds could be crazy in the warmer months but they were just right over Christmas break. Place is special. Man do they have a lot of upkeep going on to keep these ancient pieces of history alive. So many eras, so many stories. Worth coming to experience them.
Mezquita was so impressive. They opened the gate at 8:40 on the day for those who came for free admission (at 8:30) including me. At 9:30, we were forced to leave. And the earliest ticket available at that time was 11:00. One hour is too short to see everything. I recommend to get a ticket in advance even if you plan to try the morning free admission. And, the old town is picturistic beauty. I visited Córdoba on the Christmas Day. I hope to come back in other time of the year when all tourist spots, bars and restaurants are open. Flamenco show was great too. I booked a seat over the phone in English on the day.
Cordoba was a hidden gem. We attended the festival in May and couldn’t have been more enthralled by all the lively dress , events and food. Decorated horse drawn carriages filled with wealthy spaniards in full dress lore provided a great people watching opportunity
The hotel is in a great location, near the most famous Cordoba monuments, and from the terrace you can see the Mezquita and other landmarks. The staff is very friendly and helpful, at our arrival the concierge gave us a map, directions to the monuments and some tips about restaurants and cafés (which revealed amazing choices). The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom clean and with a large shower. The wifi worked great even if our room were at the highest floor.
Hotel room is really clean, staff is friendly, and they helped me to park my car. Location is really close to the famous mosque cathedral. The only downside is driving in the narrow streets at night to get to the hotel is a little stressful, but no complain, it is typical in Spain city, driving in Granada, Spain is even more stressful.
We loved staying in this very old hotel in the heart of Córdoba near the river. Although it’s really central it was much quieter than some other parts of town. Great coffee in the coffee shop, helpful staff, lovely room, comfortable bed. Next door is a fabulous wine bar and the best restaurants in town are along this street.
To be honest, i really like everything about this hotel, staffs are nice and speak in english, location is amazing! At the center and literally by the Mosqueta Cathedral de Cordoba And the famous bridge, room is spacious and clean, breakfast is complete, and offered at a really great price i have to say. Best option!
A real 4 star hotel with all the elements of comfort available. Staff was incredible, breakfast was tasty and varied, room wad spacious well decorated and restroom like 5 star hotels. Location was 7 mins from train station which was convivient and 18 mins walk to mezquita or else a bus would take you there.
The hotel is built around Roman ruins, it's a beautifully restored building that keeps and enhances the architectural details. It's location makes for an easy walk all over Cordoba. Staff is pleasant and kind, the food is fresh, and the hotel is spotless. You will not be disappointed staying here.
Everything was amazing. The best location as the name implies. Few minutes walk to Cordoba mosque and everything you need is just there. The room was big but without a view. The bathroom was extremely clean. A small cafeteria is there and it's cheap and good. It's more than a usual 3-star hotel.
La Llave de la Juderia hotel is in Cordoba's old town and fantastic location. The staff were very hospitable and all of the staff were helpful. The hotel was very clean and we very much enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning. The hotel is quite unique and our most enjoyable hotel stay in Spain.
The best stay among the 4 hotels in south Spain. Excellent location next to the Calleja de las Flores. Actually u just stay in hotel for a couple of hrs enjoying a good meal in the garden or at the terrace to feel the breeze in the evening. That’s really nice. They just made us feel at home.
Amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Cordoba. The rooms are extremely clean and modern, even though they still have the traditional look. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Cordoba, this place is perfect!!
Comfortable bed and friendly staff, great value for the price. No fridge in the room, but doesn't seem too common in all hotels in Spain. The location isn't right next to everything, but is only a short walk away.
Awesome experience. The place is like boutique 5 star hotel just it is a privately run accommodation. The staff Nuri and Lydia were super friendly. Gracias The room we got was really good and the bed awesome.
Great location, clean room, parking in the hotel, it had to be paid, still the final price was quite cheap. No problem with parking after check out.
The roof area with pool was really nice. Great old city view from the hotel corridor. Location was excellent. Beds were big and comfortable.
The location is perfect - in front of Cordoba’s Cathedral/Mosque. The hotel has a beautiful pateo where you can enjoy your meals.
