The hotel is nice, clean and cool, right on the Camino and on the main town square. Thought it is busy, once you close the windows, the noise cannot be heard. The lady at the reception was extremely kind and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved it so much! Poor us! We booked only one night and regret not to have spent more days there. One of the great memory from our trip between Stuttgart and Lissabon. Thérèse and her Family are amazing. A lovely family, a wonderful region (Bierzo), an excellent kitchen (a must : plan your lunch at La Tronera!). Don’t hesitate!

The room was of a very high standard. Very clean. The staff were very helpful. I needed to get a bus and taxi to get to Santiago . The organized it for me and eliminated any stress I knew I was going to have in doing this. Very helpful and appreciated.

What a superb traditional Spanish hotel from the moment I walked in the owner and staff were an absolute delight welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect very clean and comfortable excellent bathroom and a very comfortable bed. I had an evening meal which was delicious and of excellent quality great service and breakfast was very good too. Only had 1 night at the hotel but would definitely recommend and come back to stay again, good value for money nice quiet location good parking facilities, would definitely recommend hotel.

Location, the super friendly welcome, our room was very good and the food superb! We had such a lovely night there, which was our 29th Wedding Anniversary, although we were travelling around Northern Spain in our campervan. We are so very pleased we chose this hotel. A very big thank you to the lovely lady owner, who made us feel so welcome.

The hotel was beautiful. clean and comfortable . The staff were very cheerful and helpful, My husband is coeliac and the hotel understood his needs completely. As everything is home cooked they were able to adapt almost everything on the menu at dinner to meet his needs and provided a full gluten free breakfast. The food was amazing
