Great Location. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel was very clean, and the room was very nice and spacious. The Hotel also has a very good restaurant where we had a great meal. Sadly, we didn’t have breakfast as we were too full from the evenings meal but I’m sure it’s very good.

The staff were really lovely. I have to mention Roberto in the bar/cafeteria, he looked after us so well. In the morning the cafe was really busy and he attended to us immediately and was really friendly. Its only slightly off the Camino route but the walk to the hotel through the town was lovely.

The hosts are extremely friendly and accomodating. The appartment was spacious and luxurious. The beds are very comfotable and downstaires is a bakery with the facility to have a gorgious breakfast and espresso. The plaza major is nearby with restaurants. To be honest: this one is top of the bill!

Cristian and his son are exceptional hosts! The apartment is lovely, clean and is in a perfect central location. There were even detergent to use with the washing machine and pins to dry the laundry. The kitchen was well-equipped.

Estella is on the route of the Camino de Santiago and packed with history. It is a shame we visited on a Sunday and Monday, when ther museums and monasteries were closed. It is a perfect town for walking everywhere.

The Hospederia Chapitel hotel, the absence of the air-conditioning that they promised on their Booking.Com booking page (during the very hot day we had with them on 12 May), and their utter lack of responsiveness about that (while we were there and since) ruined our experience of Estella.

We have been here many times and enjoy the size and the people of Estella. There are many small restaurants and places to eat. The town is walkable and the Plazas always seem to have lots of activity. The people are very nice. Spanish also Basque are the primary languages. Not everyone speaks English so brush up your skills and pull out Google translate if you need to. From about March through October/November you will find many pilgrims walking the Camino Francés with backpacks. This is a very old town with many beautiful churches and a beautiful park along the river. Bus service to Pamplona and Logroño are easy to access. Taxis are also available

Estella has a beautiful old town.

Estella has a beautiful old town. The industrial entry to the town seemed to lack promise, but once in the old town, it was wonderful. The Roman bridge was great and we had a delicious menu del dia at the Bar Alday.

Estrella is worth exploring.

Estrella is worth exploring. Lots of little shops and restaurants. A beautiful city. There is a beautiful park close to the bus station and right around the corner to the right ID the bus station is a wonderful little cafe/bar with a clean bathroom.

Clean, basic and quiet. In a rural but residential area. There was some free parking availability on the level for motorcycles. Feels like a secure neighbourhood and the restaurant/ cafe associated with the accommodation is used by local people. Inexpensive restaurant serving typical regional food (like many other restaurants in Estella, was closed on a Tuesday). The hotel had informed us of this before arriving.

The location is fantastic. The hostel is probably the best I have experienced in Europe. That's not just a statement but in my opinion a fact having stayed here several times. The team are amazing. If you travel through Estella pilgrimage or just on holiday I highly recommend you stay... I look forward to returning another year.
