Llegué a este hotel porque tenía una boda cerca y acabó siendo uno de esos sitios que recuerdas por las personas. Es un hotel funcional, con habitaciones muy amplias, un entorno muy tranquilo y una piscina nueva de agua salada perfecta para refrescarse. Se nota que es un negocio familiar con muchos años de historia y eso le da un encanto especial. Lo mejor, sin ninguna duda, es Paquita, tercera generación al frente del hotel. Te recibe con una cercanía y una dedicación difíciles de encontrar. Está pendiente de todo, siempre con una sonrisa y buscando soluciones. Un ejemplo: no quedaban suficientes planchas para los invitados de la boda y, en menos de una hora, fue ella misma a comprar más y nos dejó una en la habitación. Ese tipo de gestos dicen mucho de una persona y de cómo entiende la hospitalidad. Vine por una boda, pero volveré por vacaciones. No por buscar un hotel de lujo, sino por la tranquilidad del lugar, la atención tan humana y la buena energía con la que te hacen sentir como en casa. Gracias, Paquita, por cuidar un lugar con tanto cariño!

Where to start. Everything was wonderful! The location is at a lovely, beautiful Spanish village, where you can come home to relax after sightseeing the village itself or many other lovely places in the area/nearby (close by other lovely towns as Banyoles, Figueres (Dalí or other museums), Girona, Besalu, Olot and so on + no longer than an hour drive to Port Lligat, Cadaqués (Dalí and beautiful village anyhow), Vic and more). It’s perfectly situated and a perfect place to drive around to see Catalunya and come back to this great home base! The place is big enough and you have all the privacy. Also, there is enough parking space. The house is beautiful from the outside and inside and has so much character: typical Spanish and decorated with beautiful paintings, also of the famous owner Olga! The owners Olga & Llorrens are the most welcoming, kind, friendly and heartwarming persons. They live the Spanish saying: mi casa e su casa. A beautiful couple who made us feel very welcome from the beginning; they brighten up your day! They were also super helpful and gave several advice on where to go, to eat or what to see in the area. The breakfast was made with love everyday. The space was clean and our beds were great; we slept very well. I’ve been in southern Spain with friends and to work, then in Barcelona for work, and then I ended up here to spend some holidays and it was the best ending of my Spanish journey I could wish for. Thank you so much for the great stay! Highly recommended.

We loved the location in the centre of the village as it made us feel included. It was also perfect for getting around the area for the event we were attending as well as exploring the countryside, beaches and the Dali triangle. We used the local shops and restaurants and found some excellent choices.
