It is a very beautiful and clean house, and it has a good location. The owner left tea and a cake for guest, in the evening after walking it was great. Breakfast is also really good and served in a nice ceramic Thank you for the hospitality!

I usually don't comment about stays. However; my wife and I spent 4 wonderful nights at Casa Bascara, a gem in Costa Brava. Our host Luc could not have been more wonderful. He takes such care and pride to makesure your stay is pleasant and comfort. We happened to be there when his parents were visiting from Belguim and his father is a fantastic tour guide full of information on where to visit and what to see in the area. A truely wonderful spot.

We were extremely happy with our stay! The room was incredible, beautifully decorated, very spacious, two windows and the bed was WOW! Slept amazing!! The private shower and toilet are outside the room, which is not a problem at all. It’s private use. Very very clean! The shower is amazing too. And best of all, we ate dinner at the Masia, the best food during our 3 days stay. Better than any restaurants we ate. Delicious at a very good price! Dining room is beautiful, and breakfast is great / big choice. Finally, Laura and Carles, are just wonderful, caring couple, we felt at home thanks to their welcoming. We will for sure repeat! Its a 10/10! Nothing negative to say.

Where to start. Everything was wonderful! The location is at a lovely, beautiful Spanish village, where you can come home to relax after sightseeing the village itself or many other lovely places in the area/nearby (close by other lovely towns as Banyoles, Figueres (Dalí or other museums), Girona, Besalu, Olot and so on + no longer than an hour drive to Port Lligat, Cadaqués (Dalí and beautiful village anyhow), Vic and more). It’s perfectly situated and a perfect place to drive around to see Catalunya and come back to this great home base! The place is big enough and you have all the privacy. Also, there is enough parking space. The house is beautiful from the outside and inside and has so much character: typical Spanish and decorated with beautiful paintings, also of the famous owner Olga! The owners Olga & Llorrens are the most welcoming, kind, friendly and heartwarming persons. They live the Spanish saying: mi casa e su casa. A beautiful couple who made us feel very welcome from the beginning; they brighten up your day! They were also super helpful and gave several advice on where to go, to eat or what to see in the area. The breakfast was made with love everyday. The space was clean and our beds were great; we slept very well. I’ve been in southern Spain with friends and to work, then in Barcelona for work, and then I ended up here to spend some holidays and it was the best ending of my Spanish journey I could wish for. Thank you so much for the great stay! Highly recommended.
