The Front Desk employee, David, was wonderful, very kind, and helpful. Housekeeping staff was friendly and welcoming.
The room was perfect, very quiet and clean. The rain shower and very comfortable bed were greatly appreciated. The room and entire hotel were quiet and peaceful.
The sauna was fantastic, especially after many days as a Pilgrim walking the Camino de Santiago from St Jean Pied de Port.
The buffet breakfast was delicious with many excellent choices.

The location was excellent. Room was comfortable. Everything was clean and staff was friendly and could communicate in English. This village is so quaint. We were happy we spent the night in this area and took advantage of the wine cellar. We enjoyed lunch in the restaurant.

I loved this hotel. I stayed here while doing the Camino de Santiago because I couldn't find beds in Los Arcos, and I'm so glad I did. It is off the Camino, So they can come pick you up in Los Arcos and drop you off the next day. The hotel is an old stone building with lots of interesting touches. It is very clean and comfortable, the stag is wonderful, and the food is very good as well. I had the salmon for dinner. It is a tiny town of 50 people and that day we got lucky that the town was having a celebration and we got to join in. I would recommend this place.

We loved our stay at Hotel Castillo El Collado! Javier was an exceptional host; one of the classic hoteliers with a lifetime of refined & attentive service to his guests. The castle is located in the beautiful old walled city of Laguardia with breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards & mountains We loved the delicious breakfast Javier prepared each morning for us in the elegant dining room and we loved the beautiful historic features in this centuries old stone castle! This was a fantastic place to stay in the medieval walled city of LaGuardia! Definitely a highlight of our trip! Javier made it extra special for us!
