A very elegant hotel to rest ones tired body after a long day on the Camino. We were able to relax by the pool after settling in and before eating a nice meal in the restaurant on site. Highly recommend.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to! The staff is incredibly friendly, the breakfast delicious, the spa circuit amazing. It was my birthday and they sent a little surprise to our room. It was delightful. I recommend a 100% and will definitely come back.

It was quite a last minute booking at the Hotel Marea, but in the end it was one of the best of our trip to Galicia, if not the best. The Hotel is right by the sea, near a small beach, in a very quiet and beautiful environment. Our room was big, perfectly clean, everything was fine and new, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The check in was very easy and quick, the staff were very friendly (as always in Galicia). We could easily park the car on the road by the sea free of charge.

Beautifully styled property in an excellent quiet location with easy access to the lovely wine museum (straight across the street - really worth visiting prior to a bodega tour to get to grips with the various processes involved in creating the gorgeous Albariños of the region), the ruined church and the Capilla da Pastora. The small, private hotel has plenty of comfortable communal areas both inside and out. We had the ground floor room (accessible) and it was totally wonderful - plenty of space; a large, comfy bed; and an oversized bathroom with a big walk-in shower. The owner, Pastora, and her manager, Lydia, are delightful - so friendly and helpful - they really couldn't do any more to assist us make the most of our stay in Cambados. And the breakfast... without doubt one of the most delicious breakfast buffets ever. Gorgeous breads, loads of fruit, delicious fresh orange juice, a wide range of cakes and pastries, cheese and meats, yogurts and berries. After all that, we didn't need to eat again until the evening!

All staff I came to contact with were extremely friendly. We were blessed to have the place to ourselves so we made use of all the facilities without any hesitation. Poolside and outdoor sports facilities, children playground were perfect for my children during daytime. In evening we made the most of the indoor play room which is equipped with loads of games and toys and books. After putting children to sleep I even ventured in the gym. Perfect little stay, felt bit too short for me, would definitely return and stay longer. Location wise I would say a car is necessary but since I had one then villages and shops are easily accessible.
