Corona de Padron was more upmarket than some of our Camino stays. We enjoyed the additional level of comfort very much, especially the air-conditioning. Very handy location for dinner and for rejoining the Camino the next day.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the calm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. The location was perfect — close to everything, but still peaceful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The location of the accommodation was perfect for me - I continued my Camino peacefully in the morning and made it to the Pilgrim Mass in Santiago by 12 noon and saw the Botafumeiro. And the evening before, it was lovely to sit and watch the sunset in the backyard.

We didn't have a great experience in our guest house. And had not view. But this was the last night of our Camino walk so we didn't have energy to investigate the town and see what it had to offer!

We just spent one night in Padron and were fortunate to be there during the Pascua de Padron. Aside from the must-see sights, we were also able to immerse ourselves with the Padron townsfolk during the festive celebration of the Pascua de Padron. Must see sights are the Convento del Carmen which will give one a good hilltop view of Padron. Should also visit the Iglesia de Santiago where you will find the "Pedron" or mooring stone, believed to be stone where the boat carrying the remains of St James (Santiago) was tied to.

We were walking the Camino and this hotel was quite near the...

We were walking the Camino and this hotel was quite near the Way. It was clean, modern, had a nice garden. Breakfast wasn't available, but would be during the summer. Centrally located so we were able to see all the St. James sights in town after resting up. Staff recommended one of the best restaurants we ate in on our trip! Thank you.

I'm sad to say that it was raining so hard the night we were...

I'm sad to say that it was raining so hard the night we were there that we missed all that Padron has to offer. We only visited a local supermarket for some supplies. I hope to make it back someday to explore! I will definitely stay at the Albergue O Pedron Hostel & Rooms again. That place was outstanding.

Very comfortable and super clean!

Very comfortable and super clean! The couch was made as a bed for our daughter. Yummy muffins and coffee for breakfast. Huge terrace! Nice assortment of brochures/ local information and recommendations. Very residential area, enjoyed dining out with locals rather than tourists. Can walk downtown and to Camino de Santiago.

It's a nice town with slightly different vibe to the others...

It's a nice town with slightly different vibe to the others on the Camino, quite chilled and relaxed. Probably a good place for a rest day as the trails beforehand leave you quite dirty (in poor weather). Probably lots of history here also but didn't get time to explore. I ate at the Camino Portuguese which is a cafe bar/diner. There was fine dining in the town but that doesn always sit well with hiking the next day. Easy to get around on foot, better with a bike.

Minutes from the Camino on the entrance to Padron. An albergue for collection of bags was around the corner. There was a lift. 3 good sized bedrooms on the first floor, one with an ensuite and a bathroom between the other two plus an additional bathroom downstairs. Luxurious towels. Very practical for a group of walkers. Large lounge. Practical kitchen. We stayed one night and were able to walk back and forward from the town centre with ease. A good bar was around the corner for drinks and food.

The hotel is really way out of town on the outskirts. Hotel itself is dated but comfortable and clean. Mind you the room has no kettle and if you want water you have to go to the restaurant and ask them for some water and if they are busy you are not the priority. They do not have a water dispenser in the hotel. That is the only draw back!! The breakfast spread was good though!!
