It is a gorgeous property. A small old palace but impeccably renovated. A large swimming pool to help you relax your muscles after a 20 km walk. A restaurant with an excellent menu and impeccable service.

Corona de Padron was more upmarket than some of our Camino stays. We enjoyed the additional level of comfort very much, especially the air-conditioning. Very handy location for dinner and for rejoining the Camino the next day.

We didn't have a great experience in our guest house. And had not view. But this was the last night of our Camino walk so we didn't have energy to investigate the town and see what it had to offer!

We just spent one night in Padron and were fortunate to be there during the Pascua de Padron. Aside from the must-see sights, we were also able to immerse ourselves with the Padron townsfolk during the festive celebration of the Pascua de Padron. Must see sights are the Convento del Carmen which will give one a good hilltop view of Padron. Should also visit the Iglesia de Santiago where you will find the "Pedron" or mooring stone, believed to be stone where the boat carrying the remains of St James (Santiago) was tied to.

We were walking the Camino and this hotel was quite near the...

We were walking the Camino and this hotel was quite near the Way. It was clean, modern, had a nice garden. Breakfast wasn't available, but would be during the summer. Centrally located so we were able to see all the St. James sights in town after resting up. Staff recommended one of the best restaurants we ate in on our trip! Thank you.

I'm sad to say that it was raining so hard the night we were...

I'm sad to say that it was raining so hard the night we were there that we missed all that Padron has to offer. We only visited a local supermarket for some supplies. I hope to make it back someday to explore! I will definitely stay at the Albergue O Pedron Hostel & Rooms again. That place was outstanding.

Very comfortable and super clean!

Very comfortable and super clean! The couch was made as a bed for our daughter. Yummy muffins and coffee for breakfast. Huge terrace! Nice assortment of brochures/ local information and recommendations. Very residential area, enjoyed dining out with locals rather than tourists. Can walk downtown and to Camino de Santiago.

It's a nice town with slightly different vibe to the others...

It's a nice town with slightly different vibe to the others on the Camino, quite chilled and relaxed. Probably a good place for a rest day as the trails beforehand leave you quite dirty (in poor weather). Probably lots of history here also but didn't get time to explore. I ate at the Camino Portuguese which is a cafe bar/diner. There was fine dining in the town but that doesn always sit well with hiking the next day. Easy to get around on foot, better with a bike.

Large hotel about 30 mins walk out of Padron, stayed here to shorten the final day's Camino walk to Santiago (it's right on the path). Comfortable beds, good bathroom. Had seen some negative reviews of the bar/restaurant but the food was good and plenty of it if you're hungry, including good buffet breakfast.

Clean and comfortable! I arrived early to drop off my bag and was able to check in straight away which I really appreciated. Whilst it isn’t very close to Padrón’s centre, it is very close to the Camino!
