Absolute luxury with amazing views. A perfect end to our camino. Wish we had have booked an extra night so we could have appreciated it more when we weren't so tired. Stunning infinity pool overlooking a beautiful beach. Well worth spending the extra money after a week of much cheaper hotels on our walk.

Lovely modern hotel. We dragged ourselves in from the Camino, sopping wet. We really appreciated a day of relaxing in a bright, comfortable, spacious room, with a bath and shower, crisp sheets and a comfortable bed. The hotel is in an older building, but it has been fully renovated inside. The staff are friendly and helpful. We are so happy that we treated ourselves to a couple of nights in this wonderful hotel.

We had a little cabin that was hidden in the trees. I felt like I was in a tree house. The design inside was modern eco friendly - light wood colors. Hammocks. Wood stove. I could have spent 2 or 3 days here. If you want a place to stay and relax and take a break before ending your Camino this is definitely the place to do it!! The bed and even the pull out couch was very comfortable. We had air conditioner too! Shower had strong water pressure and there was an hot door jacuzzi tub. The restaurant is a drive but they will take you at no charge - just let them know when you want a reservation. The dinner was very tasty. Highly recommend staying here even if it’s a bit off trail.

The cabins are beautiful, spacious and really well equipped - we were very comfortable. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and our children loved playing in the play area and seeing all the animals - the rabbits, ducks, pony, chickens. We loved having the swimming pool so nearby - the children had so much fun there and there were floats they could use to help them swim. The owners are really welcoming and friendly. They were brilliant with our children and we loved speaking to them. We also really enjoyed having the restaurant just a couple of mins walk away with another great play area for the children. I would highly recommend!

We stayed for a long weekend in a luxury cabin - wooden with huge glass windows - and absolutely loved it. The cabin was really well equipped and a very comfortable bed. The site is set in an orchard with a stream running through and felt very peaceful - even when more crowded at the weekend. And the bird life there was amazing - birds singing and a treecreeper just outside our window. The dog was so happy as there was room round the cabin to throw the ball as well as the large enclosed overflow car park

Overall, it's a very nice place, just a stone's throw from the beach. If I had my say, I would either paint the rooms or deliberately choose a shabby chic style. At the moment, it's not entirely clear what the owners want to present to customers. However, the value for money is good and the staff is very friendly.

Santiago de Compostela is so much more than the end of a pilgrimage—it's a city of timeless beauty, quiet squares, magnificent architecture, and unforgettable atmosphere. We wandered its ancient streets, admired its remarkable craftsmanship, enjoyed wonderful Galician cuisine, and embraced the calm that makes this historic city so special. A place that invites you to slow down, look up, and simply be.

Everything in the city is just great, the people, places to visit, the food is great, bars/restaurants. ( you must try "Chocolate con Churros" At Bonilla cafeteria). Getting around is very easy. I ate in different places, for different foods. Easy to find nearby beaches, and somewhere to swim by the harbour etc. Very underrated city, maybe because the weather is not the "Med" type, though this time was quite hot and sunny every day. Also a visit to the "Roman" light house "is" a must, the only Roman lighthouse still working in the world.

Didn't find that there was much here - felt like it was designed just to exist as a stopover for Camino walkers. Getting around is easy as its just one miain street. My experience with restaurants was VERY disappointing (Cafetería Che 4 - didn't even eat what was served it was so bad and staff were terrible), but accommodation was fabulous (Pensión 9 de Abril - very comfortable and staff were amazing!).

We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino.

We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino. We would have wanted to stay longer, the city had many historic places and old churches, but a many were closed (we were there on a Sunday). There was a farmer's market which had many interesting artisanal food. The cafes were bustling - we only had time for churros con chocolate (where we ordered double because it was sooo good) - but there were many food places - bakeries, pastry shops, cheese, jamon, and everything in between. Would love to come back and spend more time in this beautiful city. The city was bounded by mini forests which was a joy to traverse, with the trail dotted by chestnuts.

The Gran Hotel de Ferrol was a nice hotel with on site parking and a comfortable stop over. Ferrol itself, is an old town with a large Naval/training base. The Muelle de Curuxeiras is a nice small harbour, with a few bars and tapas. It is also the start of the Camino Ingles only 113km to Santiago. From the Hotel to the Harbour is a 2.5 km walk, (35 mins) down the 'straight' streets, with a few shops and bars, a number of closures and spread out. Ferrol in summary is an old town, tired in places and in need of investment.

Muxia (pronounced Moo-SHEE-ah)was a lovely stop to explore the coast in Galicia. After the heat in other parts of Spain, the temperatures were so pleasant and cool. The beaches were uncrowded and the water is so clear. It was also a great location from which to explore other towns in the area like Finisterre. If you want a quiet, coastal town, this is for you.

While not primarily a tourist town, Pontedeume is on the Camino Ingles and has lots of through hikers. We found it to be a prosperous and typical Galician town, in pretty valley overlooking the tidal Rio Eume, and used it as a base of operations for exploring the nearby Rias Atlas and Fragas do Eume, for which it was perfect, and a more quaint setting than larger A Coruña or Ferrol.
