We stayed here as part of a longer motorcycle trip, and it’s somewhere we’ll remember for a long time. The hotel is set just on the edge of town, but still within easy walking distance. We walked into Cazalla de la Sierra, which was incredibly quiet and had a very authentic feel to it. This is a very different experience to a larger, more polished hotel. The property has clearly evolved over time, with different sections added on, which gives it a slightly quirky layout. Rather than detracting, it adds to the character. What really makes this place stand out is the personal touch. It’s run by two ladies who clearly care deeply about what they do, and that comes through in the atmosphere, the service and the little details throughout. It feels independent and genuine, not corporate. Our room was quite simple compared to our previous stops – clean, comfortable and more traditional in style rather than luxurious. If you’re expecting a high-end, modern hotel this might not be for you, but that’s not what this place is about. The grounds are lovely, with a pool and space to relax. It’s a peaceful place to unwind. We also ate there in the evening, and it was a real highlight. We were the only guests dining, and the meal felt very personal. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with care – a genuinely enjoyable experience. Overall, this is a quiet, characterful place with a strong personal feel. It offers something very different to larger hotels, and for us, that was exactly what made it special.
