A lovely hotel on the peninsula. The receptionist explained everything to us in beautiful English which was really appreciated. The hotel was spotless and away from the road. It had its own beach and pool. A perfect place to spend the last night of our holiday. We booked a superior room with terrace, sea view and half board. Really good value. Alima Surf Hotel is an absolute delight. The building itself is beautifully designed with stunning views over the surrounding coastline. Everything is spotless and so well maintained that it still feels brand new. Every detail is thoughtfully provided – you really have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What truly makes Alima special is the couple who owns it. They’re genuinely warm and welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure every guest has a memorable experience. And of course, the surf: great waves, often uncrowded. The owners local knowledge is invaluable – every day he pointed me to the best spots for the current conditions. I can’t recommend Alima Surf Hotel enough!

Borja, Lorrena, Fernando and Diego (barman - not his real name) were fantastic staff members at Hotel Olimpo, so friendly, welcoming, helpful and fun. Food was amazing, hotel was immaculate with beautiful views. Amazing location, lovely walk across the beach to Noja. Isla is lovely with quirkly little shops and nice walks. I stayed here with my husband and teenage son and all three of us had a fabulous time and look forward to returning. Was great to kick back and slow down from a fast paced life back home to a relaxing break in Isla.

Isla is a beautiful town...amazing sandy beaches and I found a lovely outside pool to swim in.. Lots of restaurants .. A few tourist shops and a supermarket... But no one sold isla stickers!!. I wanted one for our motorbike.....😒

Isla is a lovely place.

Isla is a lovely place. We stayed a Saturday night and it was very lively. Good vibe in and around town. Very busy but not noisy and felt very safe. Would recommend the area but not the hotel we stayed in, Hotel Astuy. We stayed here as it’s only a short drive to Santander for the ferry next day

The sea is lovely but usually too rough to actually swim, just enjoyl the waves.You can also bathe in the river. It is unusual to have both river and sea next to one another. Isla itself is a really nice place, a variety of shops and restaurants and a good place for an evening sea front walk.

very close to the beach, good location, shop and restaurants, garden, grill and two parking lots, room cleaning and fresh towels every day, all photos show the property. We had a room on the garden and it was ok, the second room on the parking lot and another facility - this one was so-so. Mostly Spanish people around. Beautiful smile of the lady at the reception.
