Beautiful and calm. The breakfast was great, especially eating it in the garden just across from the entrance. The owners and staff are so lovely. Incredible value for money. It’s in a quiet part of town away from the tourist parts but still only a 15-20 minute walk to many different beautiful beaches. Very easy access to the GR-92 walking trail. Nice restaurants nearby and more down by the port.

This is a very cute place, perfectly situated right in front of the beach, with a homely feel and very old pine tree inside the dining room. The owner and staff were very helpful and always available, the room was well sized with a private terrace and lots of light. In the end we ended up staying an extra night we loved it an portbou so much, and again the staff were very helpful with the last minute change. Will definitely be back soon!

I didn’t like the management of the apartment.

I didn’t like the management of the apartment. It is very unpersonal, you get bombarded with rules , you have to drive to an office not close to the apartment to get your keys and check in and also to leave the keys at the end. I don’t know how we could have managed without a car. The apartment was close to the sea , so the location was fine and Llança is a nice place although with few things to see besides the beaches and the ocean

there is not much to see in the city, people come here more...

there is not much to see in the city, people come here more for a beach holiday or choose this place as a base for exploring the surroundings. There are many restaurants and cafes, and there are some good ones.

Well I was very impressed.

Well I was very impressed. Visiting Llanca in winter you would expect things to be closed but they werent restaurants were open and shops too.the market on Sunday was fantastic . A great spot that I hope stays a secret so it doesnt become overwhjelmed by tourists.

Llanca is a good place to base yourself as part of a trip to the Costa Brava. As a village it is not as attractive as it's neighbours but has all facilities. Restaurants are around the port front.

The restaurants and shops are great.

The restaurants and shops are great. There is a beach which wasn't crowded when we stayed. There are lots of small beaches along the coast. We didn't go to the main town for the beach but to a small beach near our flat. We ate the Patio near the town square very good food and menu. But there a lots of other restaurants. You can easily visit Port de la Selva see the fishermen wharf. We saw an exhibition of modern art in the port. Or visit far de punta de Sarnella and see the light house.

Llança is a town I've been visiting frequently since when I...

Llança is a town I've been visiting frequently since when I was a small kid. In the last nearly 30 year I have seen it evolve from a local fishing village to a cosy, not to crowded resort. I think it successfully avoided becoming a typical unpleasant costa brava tourist place. For my stay I would choose it over Roses or Empuriabrava anytime, let alone anything to the south, like Blanes or Lloret.

Charming family run hotel, discreet staff but very helpful. The pool area just across the street is great and the room was clean and a good size with easily regulated ac, a comfy bed and good shower pressure. The hotel has charm and although a tiny bit old fashioned avoids being anonymous. The location is farther away from the beaches but avoids the touristy port area and the location in the old town adds to the charm.
