Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a barbecue, Hotel Molina Real offers accommodations in Molinaseca. A flat-screen TV is offered in each room. Payment was taken off my credit card without realising it and I paid cash also when checking out. When the Hotel discovered this a staff member followed along the camino route to return the cash payment.I was extremely impressed with the hotels honesty and would highly recomend this hotel.
Offering free Wi-Fi, The Way Hostel Molinaseca is located in Molinaseca. Set on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route, the charming guest house has impressive views. Nataly, who works there, was extremely nice and super helpful. Although I arrived around 11am, she managed to prepare the room and so I was able to check-in earlier.
Located 492 feet from Rio Meruelo, Casa Rural Pajarapinta is located in Molinaseca, in El Bierzo. The house is set on Camino de Santiago main road and it offers free Wi-Fi throughout. I liked the professionalism and hospitality of our host, who made us feel very welcome. Clean, modern facilities much to our pleasing. Comfortable bed for an excellent night sleep. Breakfast was a delight with a range of fruits, cake, bread and beverages. Very satisfied with our stay.
Featuring wooden floors, the heated rooms include a flat-screen TV, wardrobe and ironing facilities. The private bathroom comes with a shower, free toiletries and hairdryer. It was the best accommodation on my Camino Francés. I felt so welcome and as part of the family. Delicius homemade brazil food. No one is going to beat this experience for the rest of my trip.

Featuring a balcony, a furnished terrace and barbecue facilities, Casa Rural La Torre De Babel is located in Molinaseca, in the charming region of El Bierzo, on the beautiful Camino de Santiago... This apartment was amazing, lovely comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Good showers, fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine. The WI FI worked, great location for small town, shops restaurants and local supermarket very nearby. Absolutely loved this apartment. If we return to Molineseca will definitely book again. I would highly recommend this gem of a place.
The owner Raul was such a character. He explained everything to us as the buffet breakfast was self service. He was delighted that we were staying for 3 nights as a lot of people probably only stayed overnight on their pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela The room was spotless and a decent bathroom made the stay very comfortable. He ran the supermarket within the building and his brother Jorge ran a nearby restaurant. The brothers could not be more helpful. Our party were given a signed bottle of wine on our departure. A really nice touch.
Molinaseca is a most picturesque medieval town on the banks of a slow-moving river with a stone bridge out of a movie set with many small restaurants tucked inside the small cobble stone streets. I saw a German school circus on the central plaza, a local folklore band playing at a nearby restaurant and an amazing accoustic jazz guitar duo all performing for free on the same evening, within 5 minutes of eachother.
I am walking the Camino but want a private room with my own bath rather than being in a hostel/alberque. Molinaseca is a beautiful little town but I am unsure why anyone would visit it unless they were visiting family/friends or doing the Camino.
A fine Camino stopping place, with character and options for dining and sleeping. The river location is refreshing. Livelier than many of the smaller and almost deserted Camino towns, with a feeling of community.
The location was nice over looking the bridge. The manager was very friendly. The meal in the restaurent was also nice. Rooms were very compact as was the bathroom but was clean and had everything we required. They were able to do laundry for us at a cost which was handy.
Beautiful tiny hamlet on the Camino, wooden and stone made cottages look as if time stopped there. Great to walk along and enjoy the atmosphere, but avoid Restaurante Mason Puente Romano - snappy staff and old food, not worth it for lunch or dinner - there are many better choices in the village.
