This place was the highlight of our three-week trip exploring Spain over the holidays. The owners are incredibly warm and caring, and never hesitated to help us learn more about he history of the area or find things to do. The accommodations are beautiful, comfortable, and full of charm! After a week in the city, we yearned for the peace of the countryside. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was sparkling clean and lovely. The kitchen and living room area was very comfortable and it was fun to cook. The views are incredible, and there is also a garden to enjoy where you can watch the sunset or say hello to their two affectionate shepherd dogs. They have chickens and gave us eggs to cook which was so kind! We would come back and stay for a week, in a heartbeat! Thank you!!

Awesome antient town, great mountain view, slow down and take a walk in the peaceful street. I enjoyed the castle most, which is on top of the mountain. You can also find an old bullring. You must buy local cheese!
interesting and challenging tour of castle and nearby buildings- winds were very strong and bitingly cold First week in October-although previous visits were extremes of heat and no wind so look at detailed weather forecasts if available. The shops, both tourist and local both deserve greater attention from tourists - too easy to walk on by.
Lovely walled town, lots of steps and slopes though, and the castle is a hard climb but worth it. The Main Street is perfect for strolling, with plenty of food and craft shops, bars and restaurants (Vinatea, although expensive, was fantastic).
There is fantastic hiking around and if you are physically able, a visit to the castle is a must. Lovely little streets to explore and such great history from Moors - Christians to the present era. A lot is well explained at the castle. Famous for cheese and a sweet pastel (the name of the cake is something like flao or floren...?!), as well as honey. There are a few specialist shops where you can try the cheese before buying. If you are into hiking and exploring the area, I would recommend at least a three night stay.
Nice town with excellent castle worth the climb for the views. Dinasour museum is cheap enough and quite interesting but probably need some Spanish to appreciate it. Lots of goats cheese and honey sold in town, together with the local speciality blankets
Morella is a must see if visiting Spain. The surrounding wall and castle are very impressive and unique. One night is enough. Many restaurants, bakeries and pubs for a small village. The people were also very nice. The weather was perfect and there were not many people which was the best part. We had Morella to ourselves practically. I would suggest visiting off season and during the week if possible like we did.

Everything that we needed was provided and there was even a spare room for an extra guest if we had wished to bring someone else. Great location in the old part of Morella. A friendly and informative host who was able to answer all our questions related to tourism and parking. Good views from our balcony and we were on the top floor which was better.

Cute apartment in a rural house. Very convenient for getting into Morella,as well as being close to small supermarket and gas. The host, Isabel is WONDERFUL. She was so helpful, guided us to the casita after we got lost in the dark, and came to our rescue with a laundry problem, even though technically we were checked out!
