The La Cabaña complex is surrounded by pine and chestnut trees. It is located close to the end of the French route of the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route, and has free Wi-Fi. A wonderful place with great 'pelgrim'-ambiance, very nice staff and a great breakfast buffet.
Casa Bolboreta features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in the countryside of Palas de Rei. I love it, 100% recommended. It is a beautiful place, quiet, very friendly staff. Do not miss the opportunity to stay with them. If you are doing the Camino de Santiago you can stay there too I will be back ! Thanks for everything!
Offering free Wi-Fi and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV, Pensión Palas is just 1640 feet from the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route in Palas de Rei. Lugo is 21 mi away. Great costumer service. Clean and espacious room. Staff very helpful and kind.
Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Pensión Restaurante Casa Camiño II offers pet-friendly, heated accommodations in Palas de Rei, 25 mi from Lugo. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Fact that staff at bar/cafe and Pension shared duties and all were exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. Particularly liked their introduction to tapas! And cafe opened early for those walking Camino!
Offering free WiFi throughout, Albergue a Casina di Marcello is located in Palas de Rei. It features snack and drink vending machines, and simply furnished dormitory rooms with a shared bathroom. It was a nice hostel just on the camino trail on the way out of town.esy to find and only a few minutes from the town. Facilities were excellent with a great host. I will be staying here on my next trip through
A great place to stay, relax , have a well earned siesta after long walk from Portmarin 24.6 kms + Probably quieter in October when we visited but still found a good restaurant "Meson a Forxa" and had a delicious meal after 7 - early for Spanish but filled up rapidly . Lots of Camino walkers took break here.
A small town on the pilgrims way, the palas itself is 7 kilometers away. Restaurants are very good and reasonably priced. 10 euros are enough for a person per day to be happy and even to try a milk sucking lamb baked in owen.
Small interesting town on the camino trail route (St James), not a lot to see but a good selection of bars and restaurants. A few shops selling all sorts of things, so you could find what you need if required.
This place is of historical significance. It was first used as a pilgrim hospital in the 1700’s. It has been renovated and is an absolutely gorgeous and incredible space. There are many areas to use besides your room. Every area is beautiful.
It is deceiving as when you arrive in the afternoon there is one place open where lots of walkers congregate for drinks. Food there is vile. Later on we went up a side street and had beautiful food in a wonderful restaurant with amazing staff.
The host is very sweet and makes checkin/out easy. There is no way you'll find a better property than this. The beds were great, the amenities were good. The furnishings were outstanding. This property is the gold standard others should try to meet.
Walking the Camino, Carlos came to pick us up from the way. Carlos and Mar were friendly, warm and couldn’t not do enough to help us. Beds were comfortable, great facilities. Excellent food and warm atmosphere. We loved staying there, it was like a home from home. Forget Palas de Rei - walk to Casanova and stay here.
Amazing stay. We are really thankful for how the owner received us. We went with our dogs during the Santiago's way. We have dinner at the hotel and was served and prepared by the owner of the property. Really good homemade food. Recommendation and some chat with the couple was very kind and make our day.
Really nice people able to help in any moment, really nice and confortable bed, extremelly clean and new bathroom and instalations. Seriously I would say this is like a 3-4 starts hotel, really what I needed after an exhausting day in Camino, fortunatelly i got this place after canceling another really bad
The facilities were lovely in an old building that has been restored beautifully. The young man who ran the place was very welcoming and anxious fo help in any way we needed. The dinner was delicious. This would be a special treat for anyone walking the Camino or someone driving the backroads of Spain.
This was a wonderful place to stay along the Camino. It was clean and bright and comfortable. The views from the room of the neighborhood, chickens, roosters, gardens .... just lovely. Hotel staff was helpful and I would highly recommend staying here!
Super beautiful building/house/room/garden. Very nice and cute staff. This was one of my best memories of my "Camino de Santiago". Also the provided shower gel/shampoo is great - I want to know the brand. 😂
I was walking the Camino and the hotel was easy to locate, near good restaurants, had a kitchen where I could make tea, use refrigerator etc. The lady who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful.
Absolutely beautiful, luxurious, accommodating, place. But, know that you see 3 miles off Camino, they graciously provide taxi service to and from hotel. Which is an an oasis.
Pension had an excellent restaurant in the same building, and Santiago was an excellent host for both, the pension and the restaurant.
This is an excellent hotel. It is right on the Camino de Santiago. Rooms are very clean and spacious, excellent food and drinks.
This was a really unique hotel which was a Labour of love from the two lovely owners.
Close proximity to shops. The hotel was easy to locate what El Centro do
A wonderful place with great 'pelgrim'-ambiance, very nice staff and a great breakfast buffet.
Room is clean, shared toilet also. Wifi works good.
