Our stay at the Alahuar Hotel was wonderful. The location is fantastic, the bungalow was beautiful, tidy, with a balcony and a view of the mountains. There was a pool with sun loungers. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The restaurant dishes were excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Juan was an excellent host. He was so helpful in suggesting walks, places to see, places to eat. His breakfasts were superb and we were lucky enough to have two of his evening meals which were absolutely delicious.

Beautiful, quiet location but only a 10 minute drive to Tarbena. Marcus and Suzi provided excellent service and help. They could not have done more to make us welcome and comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent, freshly prepared with local ingredients.

Sabine was an incredible host and she was very hospitable. We enjoyed the breakfast which was freshly made and there was a variety of food - anything we could possibly want! Sabine was very helpful with questions about the town and surroundings. We wish we could have stayed an extra night, and we hope to be back again soon for a longer stay. The location was perfect surrounded by mountains, space and peace. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious and huge!

Joeri was an absolutely perfect host, We made a late reservation due to a personal situation and were extremely pleasantly surprised by the excellent hospitality showed to us even at such a late hour, what originally was just a place to sleep turned into a really nice memory that we are really grateful for, couldn’t be any more grateful, the room had everything you needed. While the two of don’t cycle, staying in this property made us both want to give it a shot! If you’re a cycle enthusiast or in the area for a cycling trip, can’t imagine anywhere better to stay. 10/10 (:

This is the second year we have stayed in Casa Mistela. John and Sonja are the perfect hosts always there to help and very accommodating. The property is spectacular and is hidden away in a beautiful Spanish village. We will be back again next year.
