This charming guest house, traditionally an inn for travelers, is located on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route in Fromista. It offers rustic accommodations and a summer terrace. This is 5* star standard. The lady who runs the hostal is wonderful. Lots of little extras that mean so much eg., water, sweets! etc Highly recommend.
Located in Frómista, Albergue Luz de Frómista provides accommodations with private balconies. The property has a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. House with pleasant atmosphere and touch of history with very nice owners. It was the best albergue experience that we had on Camino so far.

The Eco-Hotel Doña Mayor, located 1969 feet from the emblematic church of San Martín, on the Camino de Santiago, offers individually designed rooms with great charm. The staff are amazing. We arrived around 6 PM after a long day on the Camino. Laura was amazing. She prepared a pizza even though the restaurant was closed. She also did a wash for us. The breakfast is amazing as well.
Specifically, Amanecer en Campos. What a wonderful, family-run hotel. Spotlessly clean, and the owners were hospitable to a fault. Welcoming drink and incredible paella dinner. I shall definitely plan the next trip to include this property. Even the lack of air conditioning was not a problem. Secure parking within the grounds.
It was an overnight stop for us on our way north, just a small village on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrim route. Not a lot there but very peaceful for an overnight stop whether driving or on pilgrimage .
We booked Población de Campos as a stop over on our way to the UK. I feel that we really lucked out with this place - it's really close to the motorway, making it very easy to find after a long journey, and parking is also dead easy. It's a beautiful location, with an enclosed garden at the back that made it easy for us to let the kids play without having to keep an eye on them. We decided to have an evening meal there, and it was lovely - 3 courses with wine for €9 each. Breakfast was great too, with home made cake, toast, and fresh coffee. However, the thing that really makes this place special is Carmen and the rest of the staff. They really made a fuss of us, and especially our kids, which is always nice. The whole place is immaculately clean too, but without being sterile. Población de Campos has character and a family run feel, which is very hard not to like!
A warm welcome, whatever the time of day, nothing is too much trouble. Our dog is made so welcome as well. the rooms are sparkling clean and spacious. The village is quiet and located just a few minutes from the highway.
Staff were welcoming and although we speak very little Spanish met our every need. Food was amazing and good value for money. Hotel was well presented.
