Cal Rei was an unexpected delight.....very nicely designed and well furnished. Calm, soothing and with a great sense of space. The bedding, linens and towels were premium quality. We arrived after a long day's walking the Chemin des Bons Hommes. Caesar waited for us to arrive which was much appreciated. Visitors should note that it is on the outskirts of Bellver, maybe an easy 10-15 minute walk, which we completed.

The location was excellent: you could drive about 20 min. up (on a narrow mountain road) and get to a small parking spot, from which you could hike about 30 min to Refuge Malniu. Fantastic landscapes with snowy peaks and at the same time a friendly Meranges village with Bar Social. Vilamaroto is a newly renovated, architecturally skillfull and beautifully executed little mountain lodge. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Eduard, the host, is very knowledgeable and welcoming. There is nothing not to like!

The location is exceptional.

The location is exceptional. The apartments are very comfortable, especially the beds, and the views are incredible. I find the pet fee a bit pricey (€16 per day); it's one of the more expensive places in this respect, but otherwise everything was perfect. We've been to this resort several times and will definitely return.

We rented a bungalow for 6 people, which was very small for...

We rented a bungalow for 6 people, which was very small for all six of us. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. I rented it because we were traveling with 4 children and there was a heated pool, but you have to take the car to get to the pool. The price is very expensive for what the bungalow is. It's located near Puigcerdà and Bellver de la Cerdanya. The campsite is very quiet.

Amazing location and the bungalow had everything we needed for a family of 4 with a dog. Comfortable beds, good big towels. Parking right outside your bungalow. Amazing views and great location. We had the best time. The induction hob was a bit slow so it took a while to boil water. The address on Booking takes you to the hotel which is not the place. You need to go to the camping further down the main road.

The inner swiming pool was great. The views were astonishing. Lots of nature lovers hosted in the hotel. This is not just a regular hotel, it's a whole holiday complex that includes different facilities from normal hotel rooms to apparts, spa, 2 swimming pols and lots of recreational areas for kids and families.
