Excellent location just off the Camino in Samos. Lovely restaurant right next door and very helpful staff. Perfect washing and drying facilities also. Mass in the monastery across the road was also ideal. Perfect location for any Camino travellers! Would recommend. Room was cool and clean.

The owners were incredibly nice and we were treated like locals at the bar at night. I highly recommend you get the Costillas (pork ribs) as your segundo, they were part of the menu of the day and the best thing we’d had along the Camino.

Great little place in a small rural town. Rosa is lovely and was very kind and friendly. A fantastic place to stay when you want to get away a bit. The town has a couple of small supermarkets and the nearby pub has good food. The house had a very cool vibe and I would definitely stay again

My room was lovely and airy. Comfortable bed and sensational shower. Located right on the Camino. The restaurant next door served good food for dinner and breakfast.

A wonderful place to visit and digression from the...

A wonderful place to visit and digression from the traditional Camino Frances - well worth the effort and a delightful walk from Tricastel and from Samos to Sarria. Our accommodation near the monastery was perfectly placed and close to local restaurants. Its also well worth a vist around the monastery - though the musky smell (damp?) in the chapel was surprising and could easily be removed if they occasionally opened the West doors to improve air flows - I guess there aren't enough monks left there to undertake these tasks? - only 7 at present apparently, but they'd welcome new novices to bolster their number! ... Curious modern art in the cloister corridors that you'll encounter on your visit - helps if you can speak Spanish to understand the monk taking you around!

The room and attached bathroom were clean, comfortable, well thought out with attention to detail and provided me with a lovely night’s rest. Nuria made me feel welcomed and comfortable in her Pension. She provided me with good advice about where to eat and how to see the Samos Monastery. Her breakfast was delicious and heart enough to sustain me on a full day of hiking, I am glad I stayed at Pensión Licerio!

Although not placed in the town center, the hotel has a beautiful big restaurant overlooking the river with a dayly pilgrimage Manuel, that is very convenient after a long day's walk. Every floor has a terrace with a laundry hanging rack that is very thoughtful and convenient for those on their Camino.

Excellent stay in Samos. Very friendly welcome. My room was great, lovely fluffy towels! My bed was so comfy! Big shower room, good shower. Lounge with comfy sofa's and a laundry room. Opposite the monastery, recommend the tour Couple of bars/restaurants close by.

What a beautiful and unique stay right in the center of Samos! The rooms are cozy, comfortable and decorated with traditional and antique furniture. The hosts are very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Rooms are big, comfortable and clean. The hospitalero, Christian, is always on hand to help. Love the garden area beside the river to reflect and rest. Property looks over the river at the stately Samos Monastery.
