Set in Santiponce, 1 mi from Italica, Casa junto a Itálica offers accommodations with a shared lounge, free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk, and a shared kitchen. Great house, has everything you could want plus it's in an excellent location. Only a short bus trip from Seville and right next to the ancient town of Italica.
Featuring city views, Apartamento Las Musas has accommodations with a patio and a coffee machine, around a 13-minute walk from Italica. The host was amazing with us! It was really easy to do the check in and the check out because the host was really easy going. The kitchen has a lot of appliances, so you can cook at home. Also, the host gave to us oranges to do orange juice, coffee for the brakfast and also a wine bottle. The flat is so, so lovely that you really feel at home. It was amazing and I really recommend everyone to stay in this place :)
Located in Camas, Calle José Payán nº 28, 1º B provides self-catering accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The property is 12 miles from Dos Hermanas and free private parking is featured. Covered parking place was provided close to the apartment. The host was very friendly. A supermarket is just 50 metres away and the centre of Seville is pretty close, roughly 15 minutes away. The kitchen was well-equiped.
Santiponce is an ordinary small town just north of Seville. Roman Italica And Monasterio Sant Isidore del Campo make an interesting day’s sightseeing. It is convenient for the motorway and could be good for an overnight stop. It has an hourly bus service to Seville so could make a quieter place to stay if you wanted to visit Seville
Santiponce is the location of the Italica Roman ruins. We like to see things in detail and a full day was just enought to see the Italica city and would have been enough to include the Roman Theater but it was closed. There is also a historical monastery in town but it was closed when we tried to visit so cannot rate it.
Recommend Horno de Gregorio for dinner. Wonderful meal. They couldn't do enough to please. Even though we didn't speak Spanish and they didn't speak English it worked. A really wonderful meal! Street side parking. Nice people. Very handy for Seville.
It is close toSeville which is why we chose it. However, at the last minute, we decided to go to Merida, about two hours away. We enjoyed the drive through the countryside and loved Merida. As chance would have it, the ruins at Santiponce opened later than we would like and we decided to go to Merida early and visit the ruins in Santiponce late in the day. Merida was so good, we didn't get back to Santiponce in time for a visit to the ruins but we walked around the perimeter instead. It is easy to get around Santiponce on foot.
The hotel is located in a small suburb of Seville. On the other side of the street an archeaolgical roman town is located, which is quite interesting. The rooms are quite large, and the beds are good. For breakfast you can buy a voucher in the hotel, and the breakfast is served in the cafe' next to the hotel. The bus to the center of Seville runs every half hour, and the busstop is nearby. We did not try the restaurant, because we have eaten in Seville.
