Called several places and finally found out that Hotel Roma is the only hotel that will accommodate my super late arrival. The gentleman that works on the front desk is professional, courteous, and friendly. Since I came last, he already knows my name. Went to the room, and impressed that it was a clean bedroom and shower as well. I am leaving the next day after enjoying the great breakfast next door with a friendly waitress. First time at Sarria & Spain, and it felt the welcoming hospitality by the hotel staff was positively memorable. Day 1 of my Camino starts well.

Very nice place! The lady at reception (Christina, I think) was very kind and speaks English so that was very helpful. It’s the first Albergue when you enter Sarria proper on the Camino, which is good if your feet are killing you. Beautiful dining room, outdoor grassy area with comfortable lawn chairs to relax in. I saw the laundry area which was inside, and I thought that was nice but I didn’t need to use it. Outlets at every bed. Clean rooms and bathrooms.
