Featuring a garden and bar, as well as a restaurant, Hotel Novoa is located in Sarria. The property provides a concierge service, and organizing tours for guests. Excellent location right on the Camino. Near the important churches of the Camino. Excellent restaurant. Very new. Very clean.
Set in Sarria and on the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrimage Route, Hotel Mar de Plata offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. It features a restaurant and a terrace. The staff are really helpful as i have my luggage delayed. They tried their best to help us facilitate the delievery of my luggage. Rooms are clean and spacious!
Albergue La Casona de Sarria offers pet-friendly accommodations in Sarria. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Just a few minutes walking from the train station with no uphill huffing or puffing. The owners welcomed guests warmly and as guests (like a short stopover with family or good friends), not merely clients -which travelers and Pilgrims alike totally appreciate-. The cozy atmosphere keeps with the style of the region without selling out to tourism. Breakfast is generous and delicious but simple and balanced. There are options for Celiacs, including freshly made pancakes (yes, pancakes, of the silver dollar variety). Dog and bike friendly for what I've seen and the couple running the place love what they do, paying attention to the individual needs of each guest. They know the best places to check out and where to go to eat "what". Yes, I've seen dogs in the place -chilling-... A great place to kick off your Camino de Santiago!
Pensión Rúa Peregrino in Sarria provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is available. At the guesthouse, the rooms come with a closet. New. Clean. Fantastic facilities. A little odd if you are use to albergues on the Camino because it was seemingly empty and so feels a little lonely but comfortable clean room.
Offering a garden, Casa Nova de Rente offers accommodations in Rente, a village on Santiago Pilgrimage Route. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on... Rural setting in a very small village. Lovely accommodation in an old character house, warm hospitality, great food.

Sarria is a great town to get ready for Walking the Camino. It has many supplies such as athletic stores with backpacks and shoes and hiking poles and all those little things you may have forgotten for your trek. It has grocery stores Etc. It has a lovely traveling community, lots of restaurants, and some historic things to see in the lovely Old Town.
Lovely by the river. Quite a few interesting shops. Make sure you take the time to visit the old town.....follow the camin o for a while to the narrow streets and more interesting bars and restaurants.
I had become sick while walking the Camino de Santiago, and had to lay low for a couple of days. It was right before Easter, and many places were closed. It was also quite cold, and somewhat rainy, so i didn’t get out much. Was not even in the Pilgrim part of town, but near the bus station. Can’t really say that I “saw” Sarria.
Nice small town. One main street. Cathedral up the hill, a bread museum and plenty of shops to see. Taxi service is also very reliable, affordable and safe. Locals very welcoming. There’s a lovely river that you can walk along and see the geese and ducks. Getting around town is mostly done by foot.
A wonderful place to stay with caring, friendly owners who are invested in making your stay as comfortable and memorable as can be. We started our Camino walk in Sarria and the location couldn't be beat. Both my husband and myself highly recommend staying here when visiting Sarria. We had an amazing dinner in town that was truly fabulous, a great sleep and fond memories of Sarria. Thanks!
If you've got time to visit Sarria on the Camino de Santiago, check out the museum/bakery Museo Etnografico del Pan. The churches (Santa Mariña -12th century- and San Salvador) are a delight for the eyes and spirit, and proof of rich historic vitality in what otherwise would just be a small town with nice views and good food.

The location was perfect. A little hard to find after walking the Camino - long way from outskirts to the hotel but worth the walk. Clean, big bathroom, comfort beds and a small porch. Ciara (checkin) was so helpful with recommendations for places to eat, to shop and getting us a taxi. And it is right in the Camino so in the morning you get up and walk out the door and you’re on your way. Plus cafes open early if you need breakfast. Beautiful place - highly recommend.

Because we were staying 2 days and checking in early and were 2 rooms ( it seems) they moved us to 2 absolutely great apartments similar distance to center. Great place to break from Camino for a day. TV ( some English), kitchen, great WiF, real double queen size bed- one bed not 2 connected. Loved it. And they drove us there. Did big laundry for 8 Euros. Have us maps of town

Perfect location, beautiful apartment in historic building. Fresh fruit and beverages (beer, juice, water and cola) are complimentary. The hosts Marcella and Antonio were amazing and very helpful. We had a very bad thunderstorm which caused some water to leak in our room from the ceiling so the hosts were great and put us up in an hotel in sarria. Thank you to both of them.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Phoned to ask for an iron and he came within 15 minutes. Amenities were excellent with good WiFi. Lovely town, great for strolling and shopping. Lovely historic centre with nice restaurants. Good pizza pub on the corner and Hotel Roma excellent for dinner (recommended by host). Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very clean spacious room. As we had just walked the Camino for 6 days and stayed in alburgues we really appreciated the jacuzzi bath to ease tired legs. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Didn’t eat in hotel. 10 minute walk to the old town.

There was a hairdryer. There are sockets near the bed for your phone. If you’re waking the Camino, it is at the end of town on the Camino so you don’t have to walk through Sarria to begin your Camino, although that means no breakfast for you.

The beds were the most comfortable I’ve found on the whole Camino. So clean and nice. The staff was amazing- fun, funny, helpful, but not overbearing. And just outside of Sarria so you don’t have to stay in the mob!

Very helpful staff. Helped make arrangements to transport extra gear to Santiago. Helped resolve a small problem with that transport. Great place to start the Camino from Sarria - literally right at the door.

The staff was incredible. When I came down with an illness and needed another few nights to recover, the hotel manager allowed my friend and I to stay at another group of apartments he owns for the same price we paid for our first night. His wife even drove us to our new place! They went above and beyond to accommodate my friend and I.
