Sort is a very very beautiful mountain town. I have visited on different occasions - summer/ winter, and loved each trip.
Sort is very accessabile with very open & friendly people that will cater for your needs.
It has it all! Beautiful hiking routes, water activities (Rafting, kayaking, etc) and amzing ski slopes. The town itself has a great ambience - plenty of cafes, restaurants/ bars.
It would be very easy to live in Sort!

Sort is a busy place for rafting and river activities, it was charming once but now some modern buildings have made the town rather ugly. It is perfect if you want to go and do nature activities. But there are prettier villages to stay. It was great for passing through onto the National Park of Aiguestortes and other amazing places in the Pyrenees.

Friendly staff, and the young woman at the front desk spoke English. They even let us park our motorcycles in their garage. Our room was clean, and everything worked perfectly, including the bathroom fixtures. The bed was comfortable. They offered a decent buffet-style breakfast, though it wasn't quite up to typical fancy hotel standards. I would definitely stay here again.
