Great location Easy safe parking (free) one of the best breakfasts in 3 weeks touring Portugal and Spain.

Everything about this hotel was Excellent!! The people were so lovely, they couldn't do enough to help, nothing was too much trouble. They were extremely friendly, they made you feel like family, not just guests. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was very good value, with various choices. The location was perfect, it was a lovely walk to the little town, where there were shops, bars and restaurants. The beach was delightful. The views of the river were amazing. There is a really great room which has spectacular views. It was a lovely place to relax, and have a drink before going to bed. The swimming pool is great. The beach was lovely, too.

The situation was good, parking convenient and adequate. Breakfast was 'Continental' as one would expect. The room & bathroom were clean and well found. Over all a pleasant stay.

Loved everything about this beautiful Posada, the decor, the atmosphere, the quirkyness, the rooms, and especially the welcome and total freedom for our dog. Definitely will be our place of choice in this area in future.

Very clean, very good bathroom for 3 star, very friendly staff, great location

New suites area is still work in progress but has potential. Downside is that the facilities are still shared with the old run down site. Dining area was really run down and canteen like, no bar in the new area open and bar was never staffed. Staff didn’t want to serve and the cost of the food was expensive for a canteen style buffet that was not restocked quickly enough. Restaurant staff were rude also

Not too be missed! A wonderful bed and breakfast! Laurie, the owner makes you feel at home the minute you arrive. She even does your laundry if you are walking the camino del Norte - thank you Laurie! The room is beautifully furnished as is the rest of het house. Lovely garden to relax in after a long walk. Breakfast is served in a beautiful breakfast room - delicious cold meats, cheese, fresh fruit etc. Highly recommended!

A genuine, family-run hotel that made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was amazing (the best scrambled eggs in Spain), fresh meats, fresh fruits and house-made cakes. Both plentiful & delicious. Walking distance to all the old city has to offer, shops, bars and restaurants. Spacious rooms with modern bathrooms. Nothing was any trouble. We would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The bus stopped right outside, and we entered the hotel to find it packed with antique furnishings and artwork- a museum indeed! The room and the bed were comfortable. and there was a library and living room on our floor, with lovely old furnishings. The bar downstairs had a good beer selection, and there were tables and umbrellas to enjoy a drink outside. Everything was in close walking distance, and the town absolutely charming!

We rent all 6 rooms ( really it has 7 ones ) and feel like at home. Very nice rooms , every day cleaned. The breakfast is testfull with fresh juice, great. The owner is really great , polite. Thank You very much. We come back.

I liked so much about my stay here. There were features that I didn't take advantage (breakfast, pool, and common areas) of but are definitely a plus for the property. The host was amazing, he was very friendly and welcoming. The property had a lovely home feel to it which made my stay there very comfortable and relaxing.

If I could score this hotel 20 instead of 10 i would. The staff were excellent and the food (the cakes) were world class. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were spoilt rotten with world class service and food. The value for money is off the scale and this little hotel deserves all the success it will hopefully achieve.

Great location, easy walk to all bars and restaurants. Owner was lovely and friendly, went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. Bed was comfortable. Good choice for breakfast.

Excellent location, comfy room with views over beach and large balcony area.

I really enjoyed my time here the balcony was amazing with great views, the room had everything you needed, a very comfy bed, the bathroom was nice and the ac worked very well. The staff were great and the food at the restaurant was also very nice. would definitely stay here again

Staff are so friendly and attentive. Every question was attended to. Clean rooms & well set up, although bathroom very small. There are steps if on 1st or 2nd floor. There are ground floor apartments too. Close to shops if walking. Free parking in street nearby.
