Having had many disappointing dinners in Paradors it was a surprise to have well cooked food and a chef that can cook a blue steak. For me this is what a Parador should be like. Location is superb if you enjoy hiking with many routes for all levels from the hotel front door. Views over the pantano de Sau from the rooms' balconies. Excellent breakfast.

I thought that we would have problems in terms of noise and security due to its location at the train station, but thanks to good sound insulation, I spent two nights very comfortably. The hotel was within walking distance of the center, there were many places to park the car around. The room and bathroom were spacious, the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were very good. Since we were going to enter the hotel in the evening, they gave us a code number for the door, so we entered without any problems. wi-fi sockets were good on both sides of the bed. Recommended if you happen to be in Vic.

The best hotel in the city center of Vic and I'll keep coming back. Clean and very well maintained. Chic interiors and breakfast is wonderful. Shops and restaurants, supermarkets to pick up some necessities or a bottle of wine is just meters away Lovely location, and staff are very helpful

On the front desk of the parador there was a leaflet showing...

On the front desk of the parador there was a leaflet showing the fiesta events in Tavèrnoles. We really enjoyed seeing the village, the crafts and meeting some lovely people and children. We enjoyed freshly roasted chestnuts, cheese , meats. A very talented lady demonstrated medieval instruments.

the area is great - very beautiful location - be prepared...

the area is great - very beautiful location - be prepared for a 10 mile or so trip back to Vic if you need something - to avoid the hotel food prices, we found a grocery store for snacks, breakfast and sandwiches.

The hotel is in a remote location high in the mountains overlooking a large lake. Large, well equipped room with a balcony that gave you a fantastic view over the surrounding mountains. The restaurant delivered excellent dinners and the biggest breakfast buffet we had ever seen. Excellent walking country. Really enjoyed our first stay in a Parador.

Absolutely first class building in a wonderful location looking down on the local reservoir. Excellent Dinner and Breakfast with very helpful and friendly staff. I would guess that the hotel would be a lot more expensive in the Summer months, but it was excellent value in April.

The hotel room was great, very clean and felt luxurious, just as a four star hotel should be. The staff were very kind. Finally, we loved the views, and how peaceful it was as we needed a proper rest.
