Les Clarisses is a wonderful restored Convent in the heart of Vic. What a nice experience in this small city. There is a large central square teaming with locals playing football, dining out and socializing. the restaurants were very friendly and accommodated our little Spanish language skills! The hotel itself is charming and a great place to stay.

I thought that we would have problems in terms of noise and security due to its location at the train station, but thanks to good sound insulation, I spent two nights very comfortably. The hotel was within walking distance of the center, there were many places to park the car around. The room and bathroom were spacious, the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were very good. Since we were going to enter the hotel in the evening, they gave us a code number for the door, so we entered without any problems. wi-fi sockets were good on both sides of the bed. Recommended if you happen to be in Vic.

This is my third stay at Up Rooms Vic. Every time is a joy! The room is spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed is large and very comfortable. Unlike most hotels in Spain there is a kettle in the room. The staff are extremely warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

On the front desk of the parador there was a leaflet showing...

On the front desk of the parador there was a leaflet showing the fiesta events in Tavèrnoles. We really enjoyed seeing the village, the crafts and meeting some lovely people and children. We enjoyed freshly roasted chestnuts, cheese , meats. A very talented lady demonstrated medieval instruments.

the area is great - very beautiful location - be prepared...

the area is great - very beautiful location - be prepared for a 10 mile or so trip back to Vic if you need something - to avoid the hotel food prices, we found a grocery store for snacks, breakfast and sandwiches.

It's a fun place to stay. A little out of the way, but with beautiful views of the valley of a national park. As a parador, one has to laugh as it is a bit "official" and seemingly last decorated, nicely, but quite a while ago. It reminded me of hotels in Eastern Europe. The furniture, the agricultural mural, the hall-like main restaurant were all most amusing if a little odd.

It was very peaceful and quiet, overlooking a large reservoir. Beautiful views. Very spacious room with balcony. Well appointed with good- sized bathroom and comfortable beds. There is an open air pool which was very welcome on a hot afternoon. Excellent dinner in hotel restaurant and very good breakfast the following morning. Plenty of parking .

Most of the front desk staff. The restaurant for the delicious breakfasts and dinners, the bar and the restaurant and bar staff. Tavèrnoles and other local village restaurants and Vic and visiting Rupit, Monserrat.
