A lovely greeting for me and my dog from the management. We were made most welcome, and had a lovely evening with conversation in Spanish.. A comfortable night, and breakfast included in the morning. The hotel is charming, and so is the village. I enjoyed my walk around it. It would be a lovely place to stay to walk in the region, and in the national park Monfrague.

It was a beautiful apartment, lots of original features but with a modern twist. We were lucky the bar opposite was open so we had a drink and some delicious tapas there. I absolutely loved the village, it had a real charm about it and we enjoyed an evening stroll up to the church where we saw storks nesting. The supplies provided were fantastic and we found the bed extremely comfortable, and a great shower to wake us up for an early start to the day as we drove down to Portugal. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Wonderful hosts, small village and very friendly. Excellent tapas at the local bar. Great place for a pit stop if traveling on motorway.

Typical hilltop village in Extramadura. We stayed only one night as we travelled the length of Spain. Facilities were thoughtfully provided unlike the last hotel we stopped at. Parking was nearby but we could easily offload our bags outside the house We would recommend for anyone exploring Extramadura.

We stayed at the property in a private room. The location is perfect for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. Everything is beautifully decorated in a traditional style, impeccably clean, and excellently soundproofed. The bed was very comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean, just like the entire space. I would especially like to highlight the kindness of the host Martín, who is always willing to help travelers.
