The hotel was easy to find being close to the railway station via a pedestrian area (car parking available).
The reception area was easily accessed, the staff pleasant and gave clear instructions as to accessing my room and meals.
The room was big, had an en suite shower and a wardrobe that backed onto the shower wall and not my neighbours .
I particularly liked the large bed, with a lightweight duvet and the collection of soft towels.
The air conditioning was quiet and doors did not bang closed. This enabled a quiet relaxing environment.
Requested service to attend to a couple of issues was prompt and satisfactory.

A visit to Dresden's Old Town is like stepping into a living...
A visit to Dresden's Old Town is like stepping into a living history book, where every corner tells a story of resilience and beauty. The carefully restored Baroque architecture is truly impressive, making the city one of Europe's most enchanting destinations. Highlights include the breathtaking Frauenkirche, whose majestic dome dominates the skyline, and the Zwinger with its exquisite gardens and grand pavilions.
The Semperoper, an architectural masterpiece, offers world-class performances that are a feast for the senses. Strolling through the cobbled streets, you will find a delightful mix of charming cafes, elegant boutiques, and bustling markets, all contributing to a lively yet cozy atmosphere.
The attention to detail in the quite recent restoration of the Old Town is remarkable, preserving its historical essence while seamlessly integrating modern amenities. Whether you are an art lover, history enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates beauty, Dresden's Old Town is a must-visit.
Access by car is simple, traffic was moderate.

If you are looking for a short break on your longer journey...
If you are looking for a short break on your longer journey towards Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Budapest then Dresden comes recommended. Especially if you are a bit of history buff or have a thing for art. We didn't have the time but if we had stayed a day longer then visiting the Albertina Museum would certainly have been on the cards. Highly recommended is the 'free walking tour', something we pretty much always do in every city we visit and we have never had a bad experience with those.

I just love this city centre with its wealth of 18th century...
I just love this city centre with its wealth of 18th century history, churches, parks and galleries. If you like art and architecture, culture and the arts, this is the ideal city. Of course, most of it is reconstructed and the detail is amazing. Many of the buildings are about 25 years old if that but look so authentic. There are many great places to eat and drink, great hotels and you can go on a day river cruise to Meissen or Pilnitz on an authentic 19th century steam boat.
Very nice hotel, professional appearance. Rooms are fairly spacious, aircon works fine. There's enough parking space - at a costs, 10 euros per 24 hour. Breakfast is nice, lots of choice and clean area. Location is not close to the old town, but across the hotel is a busstop to get you there. It is conveniently located to visit Dresden center and Bastei.
The hotel is perhaps mot the most glamorous one, but has everything you need to feel welcomed and comfortable. Located just 10 minutes walking from Dresden old town offers underground spacious parking places. Nice staff at the counter and restaurant. Good bed and shower. Water in the chiller. Very good breakfast.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, very close to Lidl that works till 21:00 and to Neustadt-Dresden train station. The city centre is reachable with a tram or S-Bahn.
The room looked clean, it had a fridge and a very soft and comfortable bed. The staff at the reception desk were helpful and friendly with us.
A cosy hotel just next to Dresden Mitte station (you can watch trains from the room, a cool option for railway fans), 10 minutes walk from historical Old Town. Nicely furnished rooms & bathrooms, very tasty breakfast buffet, very helpful reception staff. Perfect spot for sightseeing and chillout
