Excellent place as a base to explore the area. Sonia, the person who looked after me at check-in and during my stay, was an excellent host, helpful and very friendly. The room was very cosy and comfortable and super clean.

Overlooking the impressive Xabier castle, this hotel is located in Javier, Navarra, an area surrounded by fantastic countryside.

Excellent hosts,and great facilities

Located in the small town of Isaba, in the Roncal Valley, Hostal Lola is ideal for exploring the Navarese Pyrenees. All of the cosy and colourful rooms have mountain views.

We only stayed for one night at Hostal Lola, but this was our best accommodation of a two week trip to Northern Spain. The building has a lovely old facade, but the interior is thoroughly modern and very tastefully decorated. The staff were all super friendly, and the breakfast was very good. Our room was more than large enough, with doors to the balcony, and we had terrific views. The bathroom was modern, and everything worked well. The general standard of Hostal Lola is so high that we asked the owner why it is not classified as a hotel. We were surprised to learn that this is only due to outdated Spanish regulations, which state you need a landline phone connection to be a hotel. Let's hope that the regulations catch up with the 21st Century! Isaba is a small village in the middle of the mountains, so it is an excellent place for some walking (you can find an old Roman bridge if you venture out) and relaxing. If you come by car or motorbike, there is free public parking just around the corner - it's a two minute walk. Cyclists are also very welcome. I strongly recommend this Hostal.
