Desert and volcano visit is really impressive, but the fee is extremely super high...... (out of my budget so much, made me ran out of money...) People and atmosphere in Mekelle city is very enjoyable, nice, chill, safe! Love this city more than Addis :p

I think the rooms were great, stayed in two different ones and both were clean and spacious, although a big language barrier the staff were friendly It is situated in the center of town so all the tour companies. Are near and so is the airport. Food and drink were good

I took the 4 days tour to danakil & erta ale volcano and basically you have to arrive to Mekele (it's the closest city to the desert). The city is very nice and the people are very nice and kind.
