We booked a guide that we recommend.

We booked a guide that we recommend. She took us on an interesting tour about war history in the area, especially the Salpa line. The relationship to Russia and Germany are complicated and interesting. She also showed us a pretty rapid and provided a nice picknick with Finnish snacks. It's been a long time since my previous visit.

It's been a long time since my previous visit. Excellent pizza at 'Kotipizza' franchise! And a lovely lunch at Ravintola Talonpöytä. But all the shops and 'outlets' were overpriced and the shops overall were a big dissappointment. Better to concentrate on food and nature!

The hotel is located in a beautiful wide peaceful lakeside environment. The building is neat and very well kept, and so is the property all around. The quadruple room was fantastic: large, comfy, with a stunning lake view. The cleanliness was excellent, far above the finnish average standards. Breakfast, served in the beautiful main building, was excellent. The staff is kind and welcoming as can be. Price was very fair. It was a pity to stay just 1 night!!

Lovely wooden cottage pretty much in the middle of the lake. Wonderful location around 10km from Kuusamo. With sauna, fireplace and even a boat that you can use in summer. Must come back at a little bit warmer period and try out all the options next time. Kiitos!

Great place all up to date, nice, cozy, very clean and kitchen was very well equipped. Location was super nice, close to hotel,l ake and also reasonable distance to Ruka ski center too.
