In the middle of the country, you turn into the gate to find this beautiful manor home with its lush gardens, offering peace and calm. The owners are very friendly and helpful - fabulous customer service. The restaurant is spectacular. Absolutely delicious and very reasonable. Don’t miss it!

Our stay was exceptional, one of the top hotels we have ever stayed, in terms of service and quality of the room. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sara with a drink of raspberry-flavored tea. Although there is no lift, they had someone take up heavy luggage up to our room. To our surprise, we got upgraded to the suite with a sauna. Thank you, Hotel Centenaire! The hotel is very environmentally conscious and does not use plastic products. Upon check-in, we were given choices of shampoo/conditioner and body soap bars plus shea butter which were put on a decorative tray. Although we were not able to dine at their restaurant (it was full), they made a reservation for us at a nearby restaurant, La Maison, which was quite nice too. The prix fixe breakfast was sumptuous with generous basket of bread and a huge cookie. For the two of us, we only ordered one breakfast and ordered coffee a omelet a la carte instead. The location is a perfect home base for visiting the touristy town of Sarlat and Lascaux IV, both ~25 minutes away. The cave of Font du Gaume is within walking distance. Above all, the service was exceptional. Thank you Sara, Chloe and Alice!

The couple who run this hotel is just the sweetest you can find. In the bar area, there is a great collection of Armangnac from various years. If you ask for a Cognac, the owner will happily give you a lecture about why Armagnac is better, and guide you through the collection. Staying for severall nights and having the host present a new one every night, is just superb. Rooms are very clean. The garden and pool area are very well kept. The hotel is very quiet. The breakfast is continental, with no option for English breakfast. This is my second stay in this hotel. The hosts are like friends. It was really hard to leave this time. Absolutely recommended!
