Located a 3-minute walk from the nearest ski elevator, giving access to La Plagne and Paradiski Ski Areas, Les Glières - Champagny-en-Vanoise offers accommodations in Champagny-en-Vanoise Ski Resort. The hotel is owned by a family who are extremely friendly and helpful. We booked a room with the balcony where we can enjoy an extraordinary view of the mountain. There is also sauna option and it costs us less than 10 euros per person. Best value for money trip in the Alpes! Highly recommend !
Located in Champagny-en-Vanoise in the Rhône-Alpes region, Chalet l'Eterlou is a 3-star property featuring free WiFi. The property is 22 miles from La Thuile. A really nice apartment, cosy, well provisioned and the town was super close and the ski lift easily assessible.
Joli studio exposé sud avec terrasse is located in Champagny-en-Vanoise. Featuring a balcony, the apartment is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and skiing. The location was excellent, a steep but short walk up the hill to the restaurants bars and ski lift. We only stayed one night but liked the feel of the place. It was clean and nicely appointed.
Located in Champagny-en-Vanoise, Le Reclard - Les Balcons Etoilés provides accommodations with a terrace, free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk, and a concierge service. Brand new apartment well located, well equipped. Spacious and quiet. All positive that we would prefer to keep it for ourselves:-)! It was like being at home in an amazing mountain area offering all types of activities!
In the heart of the Vanoise National Park, this residence is a 10-minute walk from the center of Champagny-En-Vanoise. It offers a heated and semi-covered outdoor pool, a sauna and a tennis court. The view, the shower, soft towels, location, the swimming pool, very warm welcome at reception
We've stayed in various European ski resorts over the past 20 years and can honestly say that Champagny en Vanoise is one of the nicest. It's quiet (I think we had an exceptionally quiet week - covid and a lack of Brits probably being a factor). That said, it is the quintessential French Alpine village that is expanding. Within the next few years I can imagine it losing some of its historical charm. Bear in mind it's on the side of a mountain. There are some lovely local walks and the next commune of Champagny Le Haut provides dog sledding, cross country skiing and walking. Aprés is available but is geared more to sedate family/couples socialising rather than kids partying. Service to La Plagne and the Paradiski area is very quick on the gondola. The two reds back to the village each evening can be tricky but those not brave enough to try can return on the gondola.
Lovely small village nice and quiet preserved with old chalets, town centre close to accommodation with restaurants and bars, not much après ski life and activity in the evening, a few nice bars but limited restaurants, one bakery and two main little grocery shops which seemed to run out of food pretty quickly, shops were closed during the afternoon and when the weather was not good, nothing was open, swimming pool and spa but spa was fully booked quickly in bad weather, food quite expensive especially on the slopes with very long queues when weather was good, very long queue for lift passes on the first day so not very good organisation in the village, very unprepared for the influx of tourists, lift pass machine out of order for several days, i would recommend to book lift passes in advance and ski hire, nice guided tour of the village organised by tourism office, local people very friendly
Good village for all ski-lover regardless of skill. Location is fantastic to take gondola after hiring ski. However, I had to go to Bozel to drive 10 minute for medicine because there is no pharmacy here. Overall, nice place for ski holiday.
It was a nice cabin good for a small family. It is cosy and has an awesome view and it is just right next to the Tele cabin, location and access to everywhere is fantastic no need to rent a car to go around. The restaurant is awesome, good food and fantastic service.
Great host, great location. Upgraded our room for us and the hotel facilities are fantastic. Must be able to get up steps
Classic chalet style hotel , run by friendly people, in my favourite village in the Alps.
