This was an amazing stay, and I hope to stay again in the future. The hosts are SO welcoming and really go above and beyond. I really love how there are no glaring and wasteful lights on the property. Since the outer building blocks the streetlights, you can stargaze from the backyard with no disturbing lights in sight. It's really rate to find a place in Europe like this, and the location is in the best area of northeast France for stargazing.

Everyone was so kind to us. We had a remarkable dinner with a very friendly waiter and the next day they let us sit on the lovely terrace—bringing us coffee and croissants long after they were finished providing breakfast. We sat for hours there in the sunshine after my 90-year old parents slept off their jet lag. The building itself is not beautiful but we had a truly beautiful experience.

It was a very quaint place. A great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The hosts are an amazing couple who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We had a very early start the next day and our hosts made sure that they gave us provision for breakfast before we left. If we are back in France will definitely book here again. Our host was a true gentleman, and helped us to understand the ins and outs of this unique accomodation. We enjoyed the quiet village, and the opportunity to prepare our own repast in our own time. This part of the world seems a bit isolated, so the gite is a gem to discover. We were very pleased to wander the grounds beside the small river and find a calm respite before the call of the road lured us on again.
