Located in La Féclaz, Madame Vacances Les Chalets du Berger Premium*** offers accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. Everything was fine. We arrived late but there were no issues with getting to our apartment. It was nice to use swimming pool when the weather outside wasn't good.
Featuring free WiFi, LE SAINT JO offers accommodations in La Féclaz, 25 mi from Annecy. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Beds were really comfortable, clean linen and the room is in an excellent location, ski out right next to the chair lift. The restaurant was very good just downstairs from the bedroom, we had dinner there. Breakfast was not included in the room rate but they provided croissant, yoghurt, bread, orange juice and coffee for 8 euros pp which we thought was reasonable. Supermarket underneath for any supplies was useful.
La feclaz has two main types of skiing - alpine downhill and Nordic cross country. It is a small resort generally populated by French patrons but is small, friendly and has no major queues or huge crowds like the major french resorts. Lift passes are cheap, equipment hire is also good value. There are no snow canons so the slopes Do suffer from some melt and pools of slush but I have to admit that we were only there four days in the uk half term in Feb, the weather could be better and many places suffered from lack of snow this year. The slopes aren’t many as it’s a small resort but more than enough for kids, beginners or parents with kids. There is also a benefit of a second twinned resort le Revard only 5 mins drive up the road. You can buy a dual pass for both resorts. Sledging and tubing is also available at le Revard. Great time had by us
Found it to be a really lovely self contained little resort, brilliant for families with kids of any age. Everyone is super friendly in the restaurants, loved the people in the hire shop who were so kind, and the ski coaches were great. Food was a bit pizza/burger based but there were also places serving regional specialities too. I'm not great at skiing but did quite a bit which I really enjoyed, no one made you feel uncomfortable if you were a little slow or hesitant, just really relaxed. Loved the place, and hope to be back next year.
Pool and location were perfect. Just a few meters walking from all shops and bus station from La Feclaz
Location car park. Rooms very spacious
