The front desk staff was wonderful. I did not get the young mans name that was at the desk that spoke great English. He had short dark hair. There was an issue with our bathroom light fixture and he had it fixed by the time that we returned from dinner. I love the IBIS hotel chain. The rooms are always clean and have an interesting feature. I wish that we had booked this hotel for the 2 nights that we were in Pau for the Tour De France. The breakfast was included and was just the perfect touch. I loved the workout signs that were around the property. I 100% would recommend staying here. There is free parking and the rooms are quite. Due to the location of the hotel there is also no street noise that we heard.

Marilyn the owner was great. Great restaurant recommendation in Pau, a local wine tasting and she also helped us book a great hotel outside Bordeaux for the next leg of our trip. Her husband is the chef and the dinners are amazing -Michelin standard. Location was perfect for us. We were on a cycling-themed holiday, to catch the Tour de France arrival and departure from nearby Pau, and it was a short drive to be able to ride some of the classic Pyranees climbs ourselves (Aubisque, Tourmalet)
